Annabelle

I CALLED OUT Stefan's name as I raced downstairs at a human pace. Damon was in the living room drinking, per usual, and Stefan was doing push-ups.

"Here comes little birdie," Damon commented, causing me to scowl at him. I hated the nickname he had given me and he knew it.

"What's wrong, Belle?" Stefan asked, standing up with a grunt. He crossed his arms, leaning against the side of the sofa as I looked at him.

"You know how we volunteered to help with the picnic?" I asked, earning a nod. "Can we please get coffee beforehand?"

Damon laughed at the puppy dogs I gave Stefan, knowing he couldn't resist. "Yeah, Stefan, can you get coffee?" Stefan shot a glare at Damon before looking back at me.

"I don't know, Belle. That's kind of out of the way and I don't want to be late because the coffee shop is busy," Stefan pointed out, though I knew he would give in with a little persuasion.

"But, Stefan, I can't function without coffee," I dramatically groaned, plopping down on the armchair closest to me. "We can get Elena some, and Caroline. Just to be nice, I'll even get Bonnie one."

Stefan hesitated before eventually giving in. "Fine, but you better be ready to go within the next ten minutes or we'll be late." I squealed, clapping my hands. Sure my favorite coffee shop was a little out of the way, by only about ten minutes, but it would definitely be worth it. I leaped up from my spot, throwing my hands around Stefan's neck.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed before rushing off to go get ready. Needless to say, I was easily ready in an ten minutes and we were soon on our way. I wasn't sure what everyone's coffee order was so I went with the classic caramel, deciding if they didn't like it then I would drink it. Besides, it wouldn't be a waste because I convinced Stefan to give me his card to pay. Therefore, I wasn't wasting any of my money, even if my money was really my uncles.

"Please don't drop that," Stefan said, ready to jump in in case I dropped the four cups, which were placed in a drink tray.

"I won't," I assured Stefan, grinning. "Besides, if I did then you can buy more!"

Stefan rolled his eyes at my words, nonetheless, it earned a small laugh. "So you're okay with wasting my money?"

"Stefan, be serious," I told him, rasining my eyebrows at him. "You're, what, a 100 years old? You have plenty of money."

"Not when you keep buying stuff on my card," Stefan shrugged as I spotted Caroline and Elena.

"Please, if anybody going to empty your bank account, it's going to be Damon with all the alcohol he purchases," I informed him. "I'm going to go give this to the girls before I drop them." Stefan didn't reply as I scurried off, his eyes most likely glued to Elena.
