Annabelle
JEREMY HELPED ME off the ground, my wound nearly fully healed. Stefan continued fighting the guys until they were all down and knocked out.
"If Klaus is here then I need to find him," I breathed out, looking over at Stefan.
"No, it's too dangerous," Stefan protested, chest heaving as he sucked in deep breaths.
"It isn't. Not for me," I told him, realizing I was going to have to tell him.
"I said no, Annabelle."
"He'll hurt you, B," Jeremy said, reaching over to grab my arm and giving it a squeeze.
"Get out of here, Jeremy," I said, tearing my hand away from his grasp as I set off to find him.
"I'm not letting you go after him." Jeremy grabbed my arm, yanking me back.
"Just, stop, alright!" I snapped. "He's my uncle. He's not going to hurt me!" A look of betrayal flashed across both boy's faces.
"What did you just say?"
"You heard me, Stefan," I crossed my arms over my body, feeling sorry and vulnerable. "Now get me to Klaus."
"Let's go," Stefan said, brushing past me. I trailed after him, Jeremy groaning as he leaned against the lockers.
"Jeremy-" I looked back but he waved me on.
"I'm fine, go," he urged me. My eyes scanned him, looking for visible injuries, before I continued after Stefan.
"Where are you going?" I asked him, having to speed walk to catch up to him.
"To find Elena." Stefan sounded uptight and angry, which I knew was because of me. The music was much louder once we were in the gym, scanning the crowd for Elena.
Elena must have seen us as she ran up to us, breathing heavily. "Stefan, Klaus is in Alaric's body."
"Where's Bonnie?" Stefan asked but looked surprised at the news Elena had given us. Elena looked around slightly before shrugging.
"I don't know," she admitted.
"We have to find her. Now," Stefan ordered, grabbing Elena's hand. I trailed after them like a lost puppy as we scoured the halls, no sign of Bonnie or anyone.
"There you are." Damon rounded the corner, noticing us approaching.
"Where's Bonnie?" Elena asked worriedly.
"Doing what she has to do," Damon replied.
"What?" Elena was panicking, I could hear it in her voice.
"Where is she?"
"Stefan, let her do this," Damon told his younger brother. I pushed past Stefan, stepping closer to Damon.
