Chapter 98

Freen's pov

Ever since that Becca cameback, I'm always so excited to come home early. Today is the day that we will be going to the resort to celebrate Becca's birthday tomorrow. And since we will leave after lunch, I decided to go to the office to check something and left after signing some documents. It didn't take an hour after I finished.

As I was preparing to leave, my door swung open and P'nam came in panting, sweat beads is visible in her forehead as if she did run a mile.

"Oh thank God, your still here." She exclaimed trying to normalise her breathing as she was gasping for air.

"What happened to you P'nam?" I asked with a knitted brows. She bend a little, hands on her knee's.

"We have a problem." She said gulping a hard lump on her throat.

"What problem?" I asked quizzically. Is it that worst that she had to run for her life just to catch me? Knowing that today was an important day. Not to mention that I also gave my employees a long weekend starting this afternoon.

I mean everyone is exhausted from work and they all deserves a rest.

"I know you already made me arrange your schedule and I know how important this day to you." She said and I just stared at her waiting for what kind of problem we we're be facing.

"Uh huh. And Im sure you did everything perfect as I expected P'nam. Am I right?" I said putting my bag on the table and I leaned a little.

"Yes! Everything is perfectly fine." She answered hand on her chest.

"So, what could be the problem?" I asked curiously

"Well, the problem is mr. Hansen called PERSONALLY just now saying that he wants to talk to you about the project and they are on their way." She said very slowly but it takes time for me to understand everything she say.

"Whaaaat?! Of all the day, why now?" I exclaimed furiously.

"I have no idea, and that's way I'm thankful that I catch you before you left." P'nam explained.

"No no, not today.." I said in panicked.

This must be so important because why would mr. Hansen called by himself? My mind starts clouding. I can't just leave my office right now but at the same time I was thinking about my birthday surprise for my wife.

Though tomorrow is her birthday I need to prepare everything early. And now I'm starting to pace out thinking about what would happen if we can't go this afternoon to the resort.

"Freen? Freen?!" P'nam snapped and I was startled. I was lost for a moment.

"Yes?" I asked dumbfounded

"I'll prepare the conference room." She said.

"Yeah, yeah.." I answered

And now the only thing that I need to do is to call my wife to inform her about it.

As soon as Nam come out from Freen's office she took her phone out of her pocket to send a message to Becca.

Little did Freen know is her wife was also planning to surprise her. And the only thing that came to Becca's mind is to talked to mr. Hansen by herself to be apart of this surprise as well.

Becca's pov

"Bec, I already made Freen stay, and mr. Hansen is on his way. Hope you can finish   everything on time before Freen left the company." P'nam message.
