A Date With Markiplier

It's Time

*A few months later*

Your POV:

You're due to have little Lizzie any day now and you can't wait. You're sitting on the couch snuggling with Mark watching a movie when you feel like you peed yourself and feel an intense pain in your stomach. You groan at the horrible pain and clutch your stomach.
"Baby what's wrong?" Mark asks in concern.
"Mark it's time." You manage to grit out through your teeth through the pain.
"Oh fuck balls ok." He says. He quickly gets up and grabs the bags for the hospital and your purse as well as 2 phone chargers, your phones, and your switch in case you want it and puts them in the car. He also runs into the guest room and wakes and tells your parents who flew in yesterday in case the baby came early which she did. He then helps you change into some dry pants and underwear then picks you up and carries you to the car locking the door to the house behind him.
He opens the door then sets you inside before shutting the door and getting in on the drivers side your parents get in the backseat after putting their bags for the hospital in the trunk.
Once you're all buckled he starts driving to the hospital. On the way there you have another contraction and groan loudly. Mark holds your hand the whole way there. Once you get there he gets out and picks you up before shutting the door and locking the car. You all head inside the hospital and Mark talks to the nurse.
"My wife is in labor." He says trying to stay calm. A nurse runs and gets a wheel chair and they wheel you to a room in the labor and delivery ward and everyone follows. They get your information and give you a hospital band. You then change into a hospital gown. They then set you up with an iv and put monitors on you and Elizabeth to measure your heart rates and your contractions. They also put a pulsox and blood pressure monitor on you to measure your oxygen and blood pressure.  Soon Dr. Jones comes in.
"Hi how are you feeling?" She asks.
"In pain." You say.
"I know let me see how dilated you are then we'll see when we can give you your epidural." She says.
"Thank you." You say.
She puts a speculum in to check your cervix.
"Ok it looks like you're around 3 centimeters. We can give you the epidural once you reach 4 so just hang on for a little longer and we can give it to you." She says.
You nod.
"Ok thank you." You say.
"Other than the pain any other symptoms? Nausea anything like that?" She asks.
You shake your head.
"Nope just the pain." You say.
"Ok that's good news I'll come back in about 20 minutes to check on you." She says.
"Thank you." You say.
You talk with Mark and your parents to distract yourself and soon she comes back in.
"Ok let's see how you're getting on now." She says.
She puts the speculum in to check your cervix again.
"Ok great you're progressing nicely you're at 4 centimeters now I'll have the anesthesiologist come in and give you the epidural ok?" She says.
"Thank you." You say.
"You're very welcome." She says.
She leaves and soon the anesthesiologist comes in.
You've done research so you know getting an epidural is not fun at all.
"Ok I suggest using the bathroom before we place this since because you'll be numb you won't feel when you need to go to the bathroom and might go by accident." He says.
You nod and Mark helps you to the toilet in the room and pulls the curtain so nobody can see. You used the bathroom and wash your hands then Mark helps you back to the bed. Mark knows about the epidural too so he stands by you and holds your hand.
"Ok I'm not going to lie to you or sugarcoat it this is going to hurt a little. It's not unbearable and I'll do my best to make it as painless as possible but it's very difficult since the spine has a lot of nerves." The anesthesiologist says.
You nod.
"Yeah I know." You chuckle.
"Ok so I'm going to sanitize the area first." He says. He comes behind you and takes an alcohol wipe and sanitizes the area of your back the epidural is going.
"Ok I'm going to place it now stay perfectly still." He says.
You feel a sharp pain in your back and squeeze Marks hand.
"Ok it's in." He says.
He then puts a bandage over it to keep it in place.
"Great job baby." Mark says kissing your hand.
"Ok now let's test it go ahead and lay back for me." He says.
You do as he says.
He presses a button and you feel a warmth rush through you and suddenly you can't feel your bottom half.
"You can't feel your bottom half?" He asks.
"No." You say.
"Ok don't panic that means it's working." The anesthesiologist says.
You nod.
"Thank you so much." You say.
"No problem." He says.
He leaves and you're so relieved the pain is gone. You talk to Mark and your parents for about another hour before Dr. Jones comes back in.
"Ok so how do you feel now?" She asks.
"Much better." You say giggling. You feel like you're floating.
"That's great news now let's see where you're at now." She says.
She checks your cervix again.
"Ok looks like you're progressing very nicely you're at 6 centimeters already." She says.
"Wow that was fast." You say.
"Yes baby girl clearly wants to come out." She says chuckling.
"We can't wait to meet her either." You say squeezing Marks hand lovingly.
"Well once you reach 10 centimeters you'll be ready to push." She says.
You nod.
"Thank you." You say.
"Of course I'll check up on you in another hour." She says.
"Ok sounds good." You say.
She leaves and you talk with Mark and your parents some more and Dr. Jones comes back in an hour later.
She checks you again.
"Ok seems like you're dilating about 2 centimeters an hour because you're at 8 centimeters now. you should be ready to push in about an hour." She says.
Your heart rate rises in excitement.
She leaves the room and you try and distract yourself by talking to Mark and your parents but you're so excited it's difficult.
An hour later Dr. Jones comes back in.
"Ok let's see." She says.
She checks your cervix again.
"Yep you're 10 centimeters just like I thought." She says.
"So it's time?" You ask.
"Yes it's time to start pushing and welcome baby girl into the world." She says. Your dad leaves to go to the waiting room and your mom and Mark are standing on either side of you holding your hands.
Dr. Jones goes and gets a few nurses and they all come in a few minutes later.
"Ok you ready?" She asks.
"As ready as I'll ever be." You say.
"That's the spirit. Ok when the next contraction comes I need you to push ok?" She says.
You nod.
"Ok push." She says a couple minutes later.
You push as hard as you can.
"Great job you already have it down normally it takes a few times to figure out what to do." She says.
"I do a lot of kegels." You say chuckling.
She laughs.
You repeat the pushing process with every contraction which is about every 3 minutes.
"Ok great she's crowning." She says after a few pushes.
You give another hard push when the next contraction comes.
After a few more pushes you feel a pop.
"Ok the head is out." She says.
You then hear the sweetest sound in the world. Your baby girl crying.
"Oh my gosh Mark do you hear her?" You say tearing up.
"Yeah I do." He says tearing up as well.
"Ok a few more good pushes and she'll be out." Dr. Jones says.
After a few more pushes little Lizzie is finally out. You breathe a sigh of relief. They take her and clean her up before moving your gown and placing her on your chest skin to skin. As you look down at your beautiful baby girl you start crying tears of joy. Your life is officially now complete. You have the perfect husband and a beautiful baby girl. Life couldn't be better.
