Epilogue

A/N: AAAHHH final chapter guys! It's bittersweet since I love this fic so much and put so much time and energy into it but I'm excited to start new ones. I hope you guys enjoy the ending and that you enjoyed the fic. :)

Your POV:

You had the twins Luna and Aidan a little over 6 years ago. You named them based on the sun and moon since Luna means moon and Aidan means little fire as in the fire from the sun. Your little girl Luna is calm and carefree whereas Aidan is every bit his name. He is an energetic fiery kid who is always up for a new adventure or challenge. After you had the twins you and Mark agreed you were done having kids so you started birth control again. It won't be long until you hit menopause now since you're almost 40 now. Damn you're old. Lizzie is 15 now and Max is 13. They're growing up too fast it's crazy. It's Saturday morning and you and Mark just woke up.
"Good morning my love." Mark says.
"Good morning baby." You say and give him a kiss.
You cuddle for a little longer then you both use the bathroom then head into the kitchen. The kids then start to come out. First it's the girls then the boys.
"Do my princesses want princess pancakes?" Mark asks.
"Yay I love princess pancakes daddy!" Luna yells.
"Dad I'm too old for princess pancakes." Lizzie says rolling her eyes.
You see Marks heart break.
She only just started calling Mark dad instead of daddy and it broke his heart. But princess pancakes have been his Saturday morning tradition with the girls since Lizzie was 2 so it must hurt even more.
"You're never too old for princess pancakes baby girl.  No matter how old you are you'll always be my princess." Mark says and gives Lizzie a hug and kiss on the forehead.
"Ok I'll have princess pancakes." Lizzie says with a smile.
"I want chocolate chip pancakes please." Max says.
"I want blueberry pancakes please." Aidan says.
"Coming right up." Mark says.
You talk with your kids while Mark makes breakfast and it's not long before everyone has a plate of pancakes and bacon in front of them. You all eat then after breakfast the kids go into their play room and you and Mark go sit on the couch.
Mark turns to you with a sad look on his face.
"God baby they're growing up way too fast." He says.
"I know it's crazy." You say.
You sigh and rest your head on Marks shoulder and sit there in silence for a moment.
"We raised great kids." Mark says.
"We really did. I'm so proud of them and so grateful for our beautiful family." You say.
"Me too. I can't believe how lucky I am to have such a beautiful wife and amazing kids." Mark says.
"I love you so much." You say looking at Mark.
"I love you so much too my love." He says.
You lean in and give him a soft sweet kiss.
"Ewwww." You hear several voices say.
You break apart from Mark and laugh as you see all the kids with their faces scrunched up.
"Mommy and daddy love each other. You'll understand when you get older." You say.
"Can we play in the pool Mommy?" Luna asks.
"Yeah can we?" Aidan asks.
"Sure go ahead and put your bathing suits on and daddy and I will put on ours and join you. The kids run to go put their bathing suits on and you chuckle at their eagerness.
"I wish I had that much energy still." You say shaking your head.
"Me too." Mark says chuckling.
You both then get up and go put on your bathing suits and wait for the kids outside. Once they come out Aidan jumps in.
"Last one in is a rotten egg!" He says.
Everyone laughs and jumps in joining him. The kids all play and splash each other and their laughter is music to your ears. It's your favorite sound in the world. You love those kids so much. You and Mark join in the splashing then play chicken with the kids. Mark has Luna on his shoulders and you have Max. Marks team wins almost every time which is no surprise since Mark has really strong arms and shoulders.

*An hour later*

You're lying outside on a lounger right by the pool next to Mark watching the kids playing and laughing in the pool. You look to Mark and smile when you see he's fallen asleep. You love him so much it hurts. You don't know how you got so lucky to have such an amazing husband and amazing kids.
"Mommy come play with us!" Aidan says.
You chuckle and pull off your coverup leaving you in your bathing suit then get up and join the kids in the pool. You play with them for a while then Mark wakes up and joins you all in the pool. After you all play for a while Mark gets out and dries off before going inside to grab some food to throw on the grill. He comes out and starts making burgers and hotdogs. You bite your lip as you watch his arm muscles flex as he flips the burgers. Watching your sexy husband grilling is one of your favorite sights. Mark knows this and he turns to you and winks which makes you clench your thighs together with arousal. Damn. Even after all these years this man can turn you on with just one look. Once the burgers and hot dogs are done you all get out of the pool and dry off. This is your favorite way to spend a nice summer day. Swimming in the pool then barbecuing for dinner. It's a perfect day and as you bite into your burger you sigh in content. You all talk and joke while you eat then once you're done eating you do the dishes while Mark keeps an eye on the kids. They play inside for a little while then go back in the pool after it's been 30 minutes so their food digests. You and Mark join them and you play sharks and minnows. As you all splash around and you and Mark pretend to be sharks chasing your kids you feel overcome with love and joy. You never would have imagined this would have happened and it all started with a convention and a date with Markiplier.
