It was a warm summer evening when Rafe invited you over to his house for a laid-back night with friends. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over everything as you arrived, a soft breeze rustling the leaves around the porch. Rafe greeted you with his signature smile, pulling you into a quick hug before leading you inside. The living room was alive with laughter and energy, with Topper and Kelce sprawled out on the couch, a pile of snacks between them.

"Hey, Y/N! You made it!" Topper called, a grin spreading across his face. "You ready for some fun?"

"Always!" you replied, feeling a rush of excitement. You settled into the cozy atmosphere, feeling right at home as you joined the group.

As the evening progressed, the four of you decided it was the perfect time for ice cream sundaes. Rafe took charge, playfully arguing with Topper about the best toppings while Kelce was busy scooping generous amounts of ice cream into bowls. You couldn't help but laugh at their antics as you all piled on the toppings—chocolate syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream, and cherries.

With your bowls in hand, you moved to the backyard, where the night sky was just beginning to reveal itself. Rafe spread out a blanket on the grass, and you all settled down, excited to enjoy your treats under the stars.

"Alright, let's see who can make the best ice cream creation!" Kelce announced, showing off his sundae that was practically towering with toppings.

Rafe chuckled, "You call that a sundae? This is how it's done!" He grabbed your bowl and added a few more scoops of whipped cream on top, making it a work of art. "There, now it's a masterpiece."

"Wow, look at that!" you teased, playfully nudging him. "I think you're just trying to distract me so I can't complain about how much whipped cream you added."

He laughed, taking a big spoonful from his own bowl. "I can't help it if I'm a master sundae maker! You're just lucky to be in the presence of greatness."

You giggled, and the playful banter continued as you all dug into your ice cream. Between bites, you took a moment to soak in the warm summer air, the stars twinkling above, and the feeling of happiness that came from being surrounded by good friends.

After finishing your sundaes, Rafe leaned back on the blanket, looking up at the sky. "We should totally stargaze," he suggested, tilting his head. "Who can name the most constellations?"

"I'm in!" you replied, leaning back beside him.

The challenge began, with everyone eagerly pointing out stars and trying to remember their names. Rafe was animated, gesturing wildly as he described the constellations, while you listened, enchanted by his passion.

As time passed, you started to feel a wave of fatigue wash over you. The excitement of the day combined with the gentle night breeze and Rafe's warm presence began to make you drowsy. You tried to shake it off, focusing on the stars and the lively conversation around you, but it was getting harder to stay awake.

Rafe noticed when you began to drift, glancing over at you with a playful smirk. "Hey, you're not falling asleep on me, are you?" he teased.

"Maybe," you admitted, stifling a yawn. "It's just so relaxing out here..."

He chuckled, shifting closer to you. "Alright, I'll let you nap for a bit, but only if I get to hold you," he said, his voice softening.

You smiled, feeling warmth spread through you at his words. "Deal," you replied, leaning against him as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer.

As you rested your head against his chest, you could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, soothing you further. Rafe began to talk softly about the stars, recounting stories and myths associated with the constellations. The sound of his voice was like a lullaby, lulling you into a peaceful state.

"You know," he said, "there's something magical about nights like this. Just us, the stars, and all the ice cream we can eat."

"Mhm," you murmured, already half-asleep but still reveling in the warmth of the moment.

As you began to drift off, you felt Rafe's fingers gently playing with your hair, sending waves of comfort through you. It was a small gesture, but it made you feel cherished and safe. The laughter of Topper and Kelce faded into the background as you surrendered to the moment, feeling blissfully content.

A while later, you stirred, the sounds around you shifting as you awoke to the soft glow of string lights illuminating the backyard. Rafe was still beside you, and you could hear the lighthearted banter of your friends nearby.

"Hey, sleepyhead! How was your nap?" Rafe whispered, a teasing smile on his face.

"Pretty amazing," you replied, stretching slightly. "Thanks for keeping me company."

"Always," he said, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on your forehead. "Now that you're awake, we should see who can throw a grape into each other's mouths from the farthest distance. It'll be hilarious!"

You laughed, the idea sparking your energy again. "Okay, but you're going to lose!"

As the night continued, laughter filled the air, and you felt grateful for the friends by your side. The mixture of ice cream, laughter, and starlit adventures created a night you'd cherish forever, made all the better by Rafe's warm presence.
