"Your mother has decided to stay with Raven's father for a bit," Axel said as he sat on Sean's rolling stool. "Owen offered for Miss Mabel and your brothers to stay in the guest house while you are here. Brandon took them to the house a few hours ago so they could get some sleep. Would you like me to call her?"

"No," she murmured weakly. "Seep."

"Doc will be here any minute, Angelos Mou," Silas said. "Now that you're awake, he'll want to make sure you're healing okay. Is that okay?"

"Got soup," Raven's loud whisper filled the room seconds after the door swung open. "Kotenok still sleep? Got favorite soup."

"Even if Baby was sleeping, your loud ass voice would wake her. Learn what inside voice means, Crow," North's voice followed seconds after Raven. Multiple footsteps entered the room.

"Both of you be quiet immediately," Silas growled while refusing to take his eyes off the woman lying before him. Both men's jaws dropped in shock. "She just woke up and doesn't need you two bickering already. She needs quiet and peace. Doc said earlier the less stress for her the better so cease your shit immediately or leave."

"Need to have Doc give him a check up too," Luke murmured to Axel. "He sounds way too much with Mr. B right now."

Silas started to say something but the door opening silenced him. "Hey Doc," Axel smiled, "Our pretty wife is awake."

"Why wasn't I informed immediately?" Sean's voice was filled with a mixture of worry and anger.

"Because she literally woke up a minute ago," Axel growled. "I just pulled my phone out to notify you." He held up said phone and Sean's eyes saw his direct number already pulled up. All Axel had to do was tap the phone symbol. "You just beat me to it for once, Doc."

"Hey Sweetheart," Sean smiled as he approached the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine," she mumbled. She refused to look into his green eyes.

All the men's hearts panged with guilt as she refused to directly look at anyone in particular. Sean cleared his throat before reaching for his stethoscope, "Well that is good to hear, I will just take a listen to your lungs to double check the water has decreased in your lungs. Then we can go over the rest of your vitals as you are still low in oxygen, blood pressure, and a low fever based off of your last check in. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you were feeling pretty crappy and exhausted."

"Can I help you sit up, Angelos Mou?" Silas asked as he watched her weakly try to lift up. "Please?"

"Fine," she whispered. A whimper left her as he slid his hands under her arms and raised her slowly. She fell back against the pillows when Silas released her.

He picked her up and placed her in between his legs so she was resting against him. "How is that, Angelos Mou? Are you comfy?" Silas asked as he tucked some of her hair behind her ear out of her face.

She tensed up for a moment as she adjusted to the close proximity. The men watched her face as her eyes seemed to sky rocket of emotional warfare she battled internally. They knew they had to allow her time to come to terms of what interactions she would allow. As for now, it is whatever makes her feel comfortable and safe. No matter how much they just want to hold her and never have her leave their sight. She is their first priority and they will bring the world to her feet if she asks for it. After a good seven minutes went by, a barely noticeable nod came from her as she slowly rested back, although her shoulders were still tense.

"Alright Sweetheart, now that you are comfortable I am going to check your lungs and vitals, if that is ok with you?" Sean asked tentatively, with a small smile on his face. 'I believe we may still have a chance. It's going to take a lot of time after everything but I believe not all hope is lost. Not with the way she is cuddling to Silas. She may be stiff but I believe that is the anxious thoughts running through that beautiful mind. God how could we fuck this up so bad to end up with her damaged so badly by everyone's choices, including me... No no, this isn't the time for depressing thoughts. I must do everything in my power to get her back on her feet so we can treat her like the Queen she truly is.'

"K," she whispered as she watched his hands. He raised his hand to grab his stethoscope again but froze when she winced.

"I'm going to breathe on the stethoscope so it won't be cold on your skin, okay?" Sean asked after he looked at Silas who barely nodded. Based on how they rescued her and now this, he wasn't surprised by her reaction. He had already planned on telling her what he was going to do beforehand but this just confirmed the plan.

"K," she whispered as she felt Silas hold her steady against him.

The men watched as her eyes never left Sean's hands. Despite being so clearly exhausted, she was determined to keep watching him.

"Okay, Sweetheart," Sean said once he was done. "I'm still concerned about your lungs and weak pulse. You may not like this but you're going to have to stay here for a few days."

Silas ran his fingers slowly up and down her arms in a soothing manner while he murmured, "We'll be right here with you, Angelos Mou."
