"Now, enough of that sleeping Child, wake up."

"Maymee?" Jennifer mumbled as she rubbed her face into a warm pillow. Wait, pillows don't move and aren't warm and smell really good...

"Of course Child, who else would it be?" Mabel huffed in fake annoyance. "Now the birds are already singing which means we are late with our day, now get up." A soft thud hit the end of the bed. "Don't make me tell you again. Boys, out time for a shower."

"Yes Ma'am," multiple deep voices mumbled as Jennifer's foggy brain slowly began to clear.

"I can help her with that," Sean said as he sat up.

"I said I would do it," Mabel scoffed as she shooed him out of the way. Sean quickly stood and stepped aside as Mabel gently lifted Jennifer into a sitting position. "Alright Lazy Bones, let's get moving. Much to do and now we're behind."

"Do what?" Jennifer asked with confusion.

"I said out," Mabel huffed and pointed to the door as she stared down the men with determination.

The men looked at each other briefly then nodded before going up to Jennifer and each placing a kiss on her forehead.

"We will be right outside the room, Darling," Owen said as he held her gaze. "If you need us–"

"I'm okay," she interrupted. A soft gasp left her lips as realization hit her.

"There's our wife," Owen praised as his millimeter smirk appeared for the briefest of moments. "And don't even think of apologizing for that, my Darling Wife."

"Yes Sir," she whispered.

"Good," he barely nodded. "Now enjoy your time with Maymee, we will go home, get cleaned up, and return with some breakfast for everyone."

"Thank you," she smiled softly. "Husband."

"You're very welcome." He placed another kiss on her forehead then turned to face the rest of his family. "Let's go, Gentlemen."

"Be back soon," the various voices called out as they left the large room.

The silence was deafening for a few moments while Jennifer tried to take everything in. "Well, enough of that," Mabel sighed as she pulled the rest of the covers off Jennifer's legs. "I'm going to start the bath." She pointed her fingers at the young woman, "no falling over now, you hear? I'll be right back."

Jennifer watched as the woman she saw as her mother figure walked into the bathroom and soon she heard the water running. She glanced around the room and the kind of organized chaos that filled it. For being such a huge room, it was filled and yet instead of being claustrophobic it was warm and cozy and felt...safe. The various mens' jackets and hoodies were draped over the many chairs and on the back of the pull out couch, there were shoes lined up against the wall by the door, and those stuffed animals she gave them? They were placed throughout the room. Spotting Corey's Tom Nook tanuki racoon by her pillow she picked it up and placed it on her lap.

"Alright Child," Mabel called out as she headed her way, "you ready?" She frowned when she saw the confusion on Jennifer's face. "What is it, Child?"

"Is this real, Maymee?" she asked nervously as she looked up into her dark eyes. "Am I my mother?"

"Oh Child," Mabel gasped. She grabbed the chair closest to Jennifer and pulled it so she was sitting across from her. Picking up Jennifer's hand she patted it. "You are not your mother, you hear me?" Jennifer nodded. "That being said, your mother is not the same woman she was before." Jennifer looked at her confused. "I've seen the way that Russian's father is with her. It's the same way those men are with you."

Jennifer snapped up to look at her in shock. Mabel chuckled. "Think about it Child, those "evil" men tracked me and your brothers down the moment they found out about us. Your mother told them about me and instead of keeping us away what do they do? Find us and bring us immediately to you. They didn't have to do that, Child, and yet they did. They searched for you every single day. I saw the papers and leads and notes of every phone call. They didn't hide anything from me when I asked and I asked."

Jennifer chuckled then winced in pain. "I can imagine, Maymee."

"They tore this state apart looking for you, Child. That place they found you, it burned down mysteriously. It's gone."

"What?" Jennifer gasped.

Mabel nodded, "The day after your husbands brought me to you, it burned down." She patted Jennifer's hand again, "They have never left your side aside from when I kick them out of course and they don't let anyone but them or that one boy's mom take care of you. They are good men, Child." She smirked, "I know who they are, Child, and they are good men for my baby."

Jennifer smiled, "Thank you, Maymee."

"Alright, enough of this chit chat," Mabel stood. "Let's get you ready."
