it started with minho. it always started with minho.

their concert that night was going smoothly, filled with energy and the roaring cheers of stays echoing through the venue. the lights bathed the stage in a warm golden hue as they transitioned into their next song - "twilight."

everything was supposed to be normal. just another performance. but minho had other plans.

when it was his part, he turned to his right, where changbin stood beside him. a playful smirk tugged at his lips before he suddenly reached out, fingers gripping changbin's jaw, tilting his face toward him. he sang his line, locking eyes with changbin, who blinked in surprise but quickly played along, leaning in ever so slightly.

jisung saw it.

he was a few steps away, watching with sharp eyes, microphone held loosely in his hands. his heart did a little jump - not the good kind. but he stayed still, lips pursed as he told himself it was just for the performance. just fanservice. it didn't mean anything.

but then it happened again.

this time, changbin was the one to initiate. he turned to minho, slipping his hand under his chin, lifting it as he sang his part. the two of them looked at each other, smirking, and the audience went wild.

jisung clenched his jaw.

he was trying - really trying - to brush it off, to not let it get under his skin, but something in his chest twisted unpleasantly.

and then felix joined in.

the younger boy, standing on the platform behind minho, suddenly crouched down beside him, slinging an arm around his shoulders and pulling him closer.

minho, ever the performer, smirked and placed his hand on felix's thigh, keeping it there.

the crowd was screaming, eating it up.

jisung was not.

his fingers tightened around his microphone. he forced himself to smile, to act like it didn't affect him, but deep down, he hated it. his stomach churned with something dark and unfamiliar. he wasn't normally the jealous type, but minho was his.

and minho was playing with him.

minho, of course, wasn't done.

just when jisung thought he could let it go, minho hopped up onto the platform beside changbin. he draped an arm over changbin's shoulders, fingers running through his hair softly, petting him like he was some kind of beloved pet.

jisung had had enough.

the moment his turn to sing came, he made his move.

he stood up from where he had been sitting, making his way toward minho with purpose. his smile stayed in place, but his eyes were sharp, locked onto his target.

when he reached them, he didn't hesitate.

with one firm push, he nudged changbin away - not enough to make him stumble, just enough to get him out of the way. then, without missing a beat, jisung slid into minho's space, wrapping his arm around his shoulders, pulling him in.
