minho liked things neat. orderly. predictable.

it wasn’t that he had anything against chaos - it was just that he found comfort in knowing where things belonged.

that’s why he always kept the kitchen spotless, why every pan had its place, why he wiped the counter twice even if it was already clean. it was his way of controlling the little things when everything else sometimes felt too much.

jisung, on the other hand, was different. he wasn’t necessarily messy, but he was scattered, forgetful. he left mugs in random places, took something out and forgot to put it back, and yet, somehow, it never truly bothered minho. because jisung made up for it in a million other ways.

and beside that, opposites attract, no?

so when minho was tidying up the kitchen that evening, humming softly to himself, it wasn’t surprising to hear the soft patter of jisung’s feet behind him. what was surprising, though, was the way jisung stopped in the doorway, leaning against the frame, watching.

jisung's gaze softened as he took in the sight of minho moving around, sleeves rolled up, veins visible on his hands and forearms as he reached for the pan on the counter. there was something about it - something undeniably attractive.

minho hadn’t noticed him yet. instead, he turned to soonie, who was lazily sprawled across the counter, tail flicking as he watched his owner move. minho let his fingers glide over the cat’s fur absentmindedly, and jisung exhaled.

“you look attractive like that,” jisung murmured, leaning lazily against the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest. his brown eyes were warm with fondness, and his lips curved up slightly.

minho stilled for a fraction of a second before turning, an eyebrow raised. he hadn’t expected jisung to be there, let alone say something like that. his lips twitched slightly, threatening a smile. “yeah?”

“yeah.” jisung confirmed, his smile widening as he stepped further into the kitchen.

minho shook his head but didn’t hide the small smile tugging at his lips. he crouched down to put the pans away, his movements efficient as always. jisung took the moment to admire him. it was rare to see minho so relaxed, so at ease in his own space.

when he stood back up, he barely had time to react before he felt warmth press against his back.

jisung had wrapped his arms around minho’s waist from behind, pressing his cheek against his boyfriend’s shoulder. he breathed in minho’s scent - fresh laundry, a hint of coffee, and something distinctly minho.

“my attractive boyfriend,” jisung murmured. minho felt jisung’s lips behind his ear, a brief press of warmth, then another kiss placed just under it. and then one on his neck.

minho stiffened.

the reaction was immediate. his shoulders went rigid, and jisung felt his body tense beneath his touch. he barely had time to register what had happened before minho took a sharp inhale, and jisung realized his mistake.
