the living room was lively, filled with laughter and chatter as the group gathered for one of their usual hangouts, this time at seungmin's place. it was a routine occurrence, a sanctuary for the eight friends to let loose and enjoy each other's company.

among them, jisung sat quietly next to minho on the couch, his small fingers fiddling with the hem of minho's shirt.

minho glanced down briefly, a fond smile tugging at his lips. jisung had a habit of retreating into his own world when he felt overwhelmed by the energy of the group.

minho didn't mind; he found the younger boy's shy nature endearing. he continued his conversation with felix and chan, laughing at one of chan's stories, while jisung's gentle tugging on his shirt kept him grounded.

jisung, on the other hand, was in his little bubble, tracing the soft fabric of minho's shirt. he could feel the warmth radiating from minho's side, a constant source of comfort. his doe eyes wandered to the group occasionally, but he mostly kept his gaze down, trying to stay invisible.

after a while, his attention drifted back to minho. jisung lifted his head slightly, blinking up at his boyfriend. minho was mid-laugh, his voice mixing with the others, but there was a warmth in the way he engaged with his friends. jisung felt his heart swell. a small, shy smile formed on his lips as he watched minho.

as if sensing his gaze, minho turned to him. his expression softened immediately, and the corners of his lips lifted into a gentle smile. "hey, sweetheart," minho murmured, his voice low and tender, reserved just for jisung.

jisung's cheeks turned pink, and he ducked his head slightly, mumbling a shy, "hi."

minho leaned closer, pressing a soft kiss to Jisung's forehead. the affectionate gesture made jisung's cheeks flush even darker as he quickly buried his face into minho's shoulder.

minho chuckled, clearly amused, and wrapped his arm securely around jisung's small frame. he held him close, his hand resting on jisung's waist, as he effortlessly rejoined the ongoing conversation, never once letting go of his shy boyfriend.

...
snacks were brought out not long after, the coffee table in front of the group now filled with an assortment of treats.

jisung peeked at the spread, scanning the options. his eyes lit up when he spotted a pack of candies. it was half-empty, but there were still a few pieces left. a small smile crept onto his lips as he reached out and grabbed the bag.

minho, noticing the subtle shift in jisung's expression, glanced over and couldn't help but smile himself. jisung looked like a little kid discovering treasure, and minho found it utterly adorable.

jisung leaned back into his seat, carefully pulling a candy from the bag and popping it into his mouth. he closed his eyes for a moment, savouring the sweetness. the room was still buzzing with conversation, but hisung was entirely content in his quiet enjoyment. he repeated the process with two more candies, letting out a tiny hum of satisfaction after each one.

when he held up the last candy, ready to pop it into his mouth, minho's hand darted out. before jisung could react, minho plucked the candy from his fingers and popped it into his own mouth. a mischievous smirk played on minho's lips as he chewed, his eyes sparkling with playful defiance.

jisung froze, blinking at minho with wide, disbelieving eyes. his lips parted slightly as he processed what had just happened.

that was his candy. his cheeks puffed slightly in protest, but before he could form a coherent thought or word, instinct took over.
