the morning light filtered through the curtains of their shared apartment, a soft golden glow highlighting the quiet space.

jisung stirred awake, the warmth of a familiar body pressed tightly against his side. he smiled to himself, already aware of who was clinging to him so fervently.

"good morning, baby," jisung mumbled, his voice still thick with sleep as he glanced down to see minho's face buried in his chest, arms wrapped tightly around his waist.

minho's response was a sleepy hum, muffled by the fabric of jisung's oversized hoodie.

"morning..." minho murmured, his voice barely audible. he made no effort to move away, instead snuggling closer, his soft brown hair tickling jisung's jaw.

it was rare for minho to be this clingy - he was usually more reserved when it came to physical affection, at least in comparison to jisung, who had no issue wrapping himself around minho like a koala at any given moment.

but today, minho seemed to have no intention of letting go, and jisung wasn't complaining.

it wasn't just in the morning. by the time they'd gotten out of bed and into their usual morning routine, it became abundantly clear that minho was in a particularly affectionate mood.

whether they were brushing their teeth or preparing breakfast, minho was always within arm's reach, a hand resting lightly on jisung's shoulder or waist, his head leaning on jisung's as they moved about the kitchen.

"you're really clingy today, aren't you, babe?" jisung teased, though his tone was light, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips as he looked over at his boyfriend.

minho blinked at him, caught in the act of wrapping his arms around jisung's middle for what had to be the fifth time that morning. "is that a bad thing?" he asked, his tone hesitant but still soft.

"not at all," jisung assured him quickly, ruffling Minho's hair. "it's cute. you're cute."

minho smiled, a soft blush dusting his cheeks, but he didn't let go.

the clinginess didn't stop when they left the apartment to run errands later in the day.

at the grocery store, minho stuck close to Jisung's side, holding his hand as they walked down the aisles, their fingers laced together tightly.

if jisung let go to grab something off the shelf, minho would immediately find another way to stay connected - resting his chin on jisung's shoulder or slipping his arm around his waist.

"okay, seriously," jisung said at one point, turning to face minho with an exaggerated look of mock exasperation. "are you glued to me or something today? should I start calling you my shadow?"

minho's lips quirked into a small pout. "I just... feel like being close to you today, that's all," he said softly, a hint of vulnerability in his voice.

jisung softened instantly, his teasing forgotten. "I'm not complaining, baby," he reassured minho, leaning in to press a quick kiss to his temple. "I think it's adorable."

minho brightened at that, but the smile didn't quite reach his eyes. he couldn't shake the thought that maybe jisung's teasing meant he wasn't entirely comfortable with the sudden increase in affection.
