the night was quiet, save for the gentle hum of the city beyond the windows. in their small, shared apartment, minho and jisung lay close together in bed.

the room was softly illuminated by the faint glow of a night lamp, casting delicate shadows across the walls.

minho had an arm wrapped around jisung, his fingers tracing light patterns along the younger boy's back, as if he were drawing invisible symbols only they could understand.

jisung nestled against minho's chest, his face half-buried in the familiar warmth, breathing in the subtle, comforting scent that was minho.

it was late, but neither of them cared to check the time. they'd spent hours like this already, speaking in quiet murmurs, exchanging playful smiles, sharing memories of random moments.

minho's hand found its way into jisung's hair, his fingers lightly scratching at the nape of jisung's neck, coaxing a satisfied sigh from him.

"hyung," jisung murmured, his voice barely more than a whisper as he tightened his hold around minho's waist, hugging him closer.

"mmm?" minho's voice was equally soft, gentle and sleepy, but there was a smile in it, a warmth that filled jisung's heart.

they lay in silence again, and then jisung lifted his head, just enough to look up at minho's face. minho's eyes were half-lidded, but they opened wider when he felt jisung's gaze, his eyes softening as he looked down.

"why are you looking at me like that, hmm?" minho teased, brushing a strand of hair away from jisung's face.

"I just... I wanted to tell you something," jisung began, the words tumbling out a little uncertainly. his cheeks tinted pink, and his gaze lowered, as if he was suddenly shy.

minho's fingers found their way back to jisung's cheek, guiding his gaze back up to him. "hey, you know you can tell me anything, sungie."

jisung smiled a little, reassured by minho's gentle touch. he took a breath, and then, with a vulnerability that minho could tell was both thrilling and a little terrifying for him, he spoke.

"you know... you're my first everything, right?" jisung's voice was so soft that minho almost missed the words, but when he heard them, they settled in his heart like the gentlest of weights, making it beat a little faster.

for a moment, minho didn't respond, his eyes searching jisung's face as if trying to understand all the meaning behind those words.

jisung's cheeks flushed even deeper as he began listing each "first" slowly, deliberately, like he wanted minho to truly hear and understand.

"my first best friend," he whispered, holding minho's gaze. "my first kiss... my first boyfriend..." he paused, his voice catching a little. "my first love. my first time, my first everything."

the words hung between them, fragile and raw, and minho's hand stilled on jisung's cheek as he absorbed the depth of what he'd just been told.

jisung's sincerity, the trust and love he was showing him, was overwhelming in a way he hadn't anticipated. minho's vision blurred slightly as he felt tears pricking his eyes.

"you're my first everything, minho," jisung repeated, his voice a little more certain this time as he reached up to brush a thumb over minho's cheek.

minho didn't know what to say; he felt his chest tighten with the weight of his feelings. slowly, he drew jisung even closer, pressing their foreheads together as he closed his eyes, letting a few tears slip free.

he could feel the steady beat of jisung's heart against his own, as if their two hearts were in sync, resonating with the same unspoken emotions.

"jisung..." minho's voice broke a little as he whispered his name, his hand cupping jisung's face tenderly. "you... you don't know what that means to me." he choked out a quiet laugh, a tear slipping down his cheek. "I... I don't deserve you."

jisung shook his head, gently wiping the tear away with his thumb. "don't say that, hyung," he whispered. "I don't want anyone else. you're... you're it for me." his lips brushed over minho's cheek, a soft, sweet kiss, like he was sealing his words.

"come here," minho whispered, his voice tight, pulling jisung fully into his arms. he wrapped him in a fierce hug, as if he wanted to keep him close forever, to make sure he'd never be able to drift away.

jisung buried his face in minho's neck, his arms wrapping around minho just as tightly, clinging to him as if he felt exactly the same.

after a few moments, minho pulled back slightly, lifting jisung's face so he could see him again. his hand cupped jisung's cheek, his thumb brushing tenderly over his skin. "sungie, I... you're so precious to me." he placed a gentle kiss on jisung's forehead, lingering for a moment, before pulling back to meet his eyes again.

jisung's lips curved into a small, shy smile, and minho couldn't resist pressing another kiss to his nose, then his cheek, and finally, his lips. it was a soft, lingering kiss, full of the love and gratitude he felt but couldn't fully put into words.

"you know," minho murmured against his lips, his own voice thick with emotion, "I used to think I'd never find someone who made me feel... like this. like I was home. but you... jisung, you're my home."

jisung's eyes widened slightly, shimmering with unshed tears, and his hand gently cradled the back of minho's head, pulling him closer as he buried his face in minho's shoulder.

"I don't need anyone else, hyung. I just want you," jisung whispered, his words muffled but clear, like he was afraid that if he said it too loudly, it might shatter this fragile, perfect moment.

minho tightened his hold, resting his chin atop Jisung's head as he stroked his hair. "I promise," he murmured, his voice low and fierce, "I'm never going anywhere, sungie. as long as you want me, I'll be here."

they held each other like that for a long time, saying nothing but letting their embrace say everything they needed to. every heartbeat, every gentle squeeze, was a silent promise, a reassurance that they were together, and that they belonged only to each other.

finally, jisung shifted slightly, pulling back just enough to look up at minho with that sweet, shy smile that never failed to make minho's heart skip a beat. he leaned up, pressing a soft kiss to minho's cheek.

"hyung?"

"yes, baby?"

jisung's smile turned playful, and he reached up to brush a stray tear from minho's cheek. "are you crying?"

minho let out a soft laugh, though he could feel his cheeks heating up. "maybe. but it's your fault," he teased, pinching jisung's cheek gently.

jisung giggled, snuggling closer. "good. you look cute when you cry." he kissed minho's cheek, and then his lips, a kiss so tender that minho's heart felt like it could burst.

"well, you're beautiful when you smile like that," minho murmured, brushing his thumb over jisung's lips, memorizing the curve of them, the softness. "I could look at you forever, sungie."

jisung's cheeks flushed, and he ducked his head, hiding his face in minho's chest again. "stop," he whispered, though he didn't pull away, letting minho's arms hold him close.

they stayed that way for a long while, wrapped up in each other, trading kisses and quiet words until the world outside faded away completely. every moment felt like a gift, every touch, every whisper, a reminder of how much they loved each other.

as they lay there, minho knew that he'd cherish this memory forever. it was a memory made up of soft touches, quiet confessions, and the kind of love that only comes once in a lifetime - a love that, for both of them, was their very first and, as they both knew, would be their only.

"I love you, minho," jisung whispered, his voice soft but steady.

minho's heart swelled, and he pressed a final, lingering kiss to jisung's lips, smiling against them. "I love you too, jisung. with everything I am."
