my answer: imma list them
1. When people say "what are you, 12?" Age is not an insult. Maturity is not always dependent on age. We are 12 years old at some point. AND SOMEONE WHO IS 12 YEARS OLD AND IS IN THE FAN - IS A REAL FAN! STOP HATING ON THEM
ALL YOU YOUNGER FANS OUT THERE - YOU'RE AWESOME!
2. Homophobia/Transphobia(etc.) I just don't understand why some people can be non-accepting of the way other humans are. We love who we love. I support LGBT+. You can be gay, lesbian, bi, pan, asexual, etc. You can be transgender. You can be genderfluid. You can be a girl. You can be a boy. You can be both. You don't need to conform to society's "standards." You are beautiful and I accept you, in fact, I encourage it.
As long as you are kind and friendly, I love you.
3. BRUTALITY TOWARDS DIFFERENT RACES. Every person of any color is beautiful! Just because one person does something bad doesn't mean the entire race is bad too! Stop judging people for their nationality/ethnicity and accept them! Stop with the racist remarks.
4. When people judge others for the bands they love. It makes us happy. It relaxes us. We are able to make friends through the things we love. We're not "crazy", we are incredibly dedicated to our passions. Stop dissing our favorite artists just to piss us off because it's rude and offensive. And also - boys can like bands such as one direction or 5sos etc. stop saying it makes them "gay" bc 1. Gay isn't an insult and 2.) BOY ARE ALLOWED TO LISTEN TO BANDS AND FANGIRL/FANBOY (whichever term you prefer) OVER THEM.
Is there any boys who read this? (Just curious) YOU ARE AWESOME TOO!
5. (This one is a personal pet peeve) when people judge me for not talking too much. I've been emotionally hurt by people too many times, so my trust is hard to be given. I'm sensitive. I'm scared that if I talk to someone I'll say the wrong or that they'll be rude to me. It's just the way I am. I can be very open and enthusiastic if I get comfortable, but it takes a long time. Please be patient with me. I may be broken but I still work.
