Screaming in the Dark (Finished)

Chapter 82 - Thana's POV

It had been three days sense I got shot. Three days I had been forced to stay in this hospital. I was going crazy just lying here all day. I had so many things I wanted to do. Things I needed to do. But it was not as if I could tell the doctors hey let me out early so I can go to my covens mention and find a book of shadows so I can get my powers back.

So I had to wait and today was that day. Dad was signing the discharge papers as we speak. I was still a little sore and was having trouble putting my shirt on. It was not unbearable I had always had a strangely high tolerance to pain but moving like this was definitely uncomfortable.

"All set." Dad said as he walked into the room.

He saw me struggling and quickly turned away.

"Izzy!" He called out.

All of my friends had come to see me but Izzy was the one who stayed the most. She seemed to always be hear even more then Derek who could only come when my dad was not around. Scott had told me about Izzy and Jared being on the dead pool. I had not brought it up to her yet. I was not shore how to. I did not even know if she knew about the dead pool. I mean everyone knew people were dying but the fact that they were being hunted. Only a few of us actually knew that.

David came to visit me every day sense school still was not open. I really looked forward to his visits. That was until his last one when Derek also showed up. I don't know what was up with the two of them but something was not right. It was totally tense.

"What?" Izzy asked as she walked into the room.

"Thana needs help." He told her and then walked out of the room.

"You need help?" She asked me with a big ass smile on her face.

"Shut up and help me." I answered.

She chuckled and walked over to me. She helped me pull down my shirt.

"All set." She told me.

"Thanks." I told her.

I felt ridiculous. I could not even put my own shirt on.

"Let's just get the hell out of hear." I said to her and walked out of the room to see dad and Scott where waiting for us.

"Are you ready?" Dad asked me.

"Yes. Let's go home." I said to him.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Izzy said to me.

"No can't you come I need to talk to you about something." I told her.

"I don't know you dad probably wants to spend some alone time with you." She said to me.

"It's okay. I have to do some work." He told her.

I could not help but be disappointed that he had to work but at the same time it worked for me so I could not really complain.

"Okay." She said and followed us to the car.

Scott got into the front seat with dad and the two of us climbed into the back. We all sat in silence until we arrived home. Once inside dad went right to work. Everything was still a mess from the hospital. Scott and Izzy helped me into my room and once Scott was shore I was okay turned to leave.

"Wait Scott can you stay?" I asked him.

"I thought you wanted to talk to Izzy." He said to me.

"Yeah, but I think you could help." I said to him and he seemed to understand what I was talking about.

"Are you shore?" He asked me.
