I woke up and before I could even move I almost passed out again. The pain in my head was excruciating. It felt as if my head was split in two. That's when it came back to me. Scott and I were on a date a cute little picnic at the lake when we were attacked. I never even saw who it was.

I softly touched my finger tips to the back of my head to feel a big gash that was fresh and still bleeding.

"Why am I not healing?" I asked myself but then regretted it as my own voice echoed painfully in my skull.

I tried to stand up but tripped as the ground seemed to crumble underneath me. I bent down to pick up and a piece of the crumbling earth. I had to hold it close to my face because it was so dark. I screamed out and threw it across the room when I saw what it was. What it all was. I was standing in a pit of bones.

"Scott!" I yelled over and over not being able to think of anything else to do.

Scott would come for me. He would never leave me behind.
