I was not one hundred percent sure where I was anymore. The last thing I remember was being in Isaacs' arms then I was just cold. I am surrounded by darkness, only coming out of it every once and a while for a few seconds to see a really bright light. I could hear familiar voices way off in the distance but I could not make out who they were or what they were saying. I tried will all my might to wake up, but my body could not. I was so cold, and it was like my body was frozen into a permanent sleep that I would never awake from. I fell back into the darkness where I could not see or hear anything, that was until I heard his voice.

"I'm here." It said and I wanted to cry at this cruel joke my mind was playing on me.

He could not be here, he was dead. Dead because of my temper. Dead because I could not save him. Dead because I had no idea what I was doing. Then I felt his lips on my hand and it sent a jolt of electricity through my entire body. It felt like I was being struck by lightning.

My eyes fluttered open and I was met with his worried one. I must still be sleeping, my mind is showing me what I wanted because there was no way this was real.

I closed my eyes and opened them again and he was still there.

"Hey, I'm here." He said softly to me as he brushed a piece of hair behind my ear and I swear I could feel him touching me.

Little shocks of electricity flowing from his fingers to my mind.

He took his other hand and softly rubbed my cheek as he placed a soft kiss on my four head and I don't know how but I knew that this was real. He heard, I have no idea how, but he's alive. I wanted to smile and wrap my arms around him but I was still frozen and unable to move. That's when I realized he was okay but I was going to die. I knew it and not too long ago I wished for death to take me, so I could be with him.

But he was here with me, he wouldn't be waiting for me on the other side.

"I'm not leaving okay. I need you to fight. Help is coming." He told me.

I wanted to ask what he ment, but all I could do was look up at him. At those sad eyes as he watched me die a slow and painful death.

"I love you." He said as he pulled back and grabbed hold of my hand, the one he had kissed before.

I wanted to tell him I loved him back. I was so worried I would never be able to say I love you, ever again. I needed him to know how much I loved him.

"What are you doing?" Mellissa asked someone and it was in that moment I realized she was there.

She must have been yelling at Izzy because a few seconds later she was at my bedside.

"I can't save her but I can help," Izzy said.

"Drink this, it's a tea. It will help you regain your strength long enough to wait for help to get here." She told me.

I was unable to move or answer but she seemed to understand and handed it to Derek who held it to my mouth for me. Forcing me to drink it. it tasted horrible like something died in my mouth. I wanted to spit it out but could not even do that. A few seconds after drinking it I could feel my body start to heat up a little. Enough for me to move slightly.

"I thought I was never going to see you again," I told Derek the second I could get my mouth to move.

"I'm so sorry, but I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere. I need you to fight until help can get here." He told me.

"I love you, I love you so much," I told him as I started to cry worried that I would never make it out of this bed.

"Shhh..." He said to me as he wiped away my tears.

"You're going to be okay." He said to me but the tears forming in his eyes let me know he was not so sure.

"Thank you," I said to him.

"For what?" He asked confused.

"For saving me," I answered.

"But I didn't, I haven't yet." He answered.

"Yes, you have," I told him as I reached out to touch his face but found I was still too weak to lift it that high.

I could feel myself becoming weaker again.

"I'm so in love with you that I couldn't live with myself," I told him as I dropped my hand to the side of my body.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here now and you're going to be okay." He told me.

"I'm dying," I told him.

"No you're not. You're fine." He lied.

I could do nothing but smile at his beautiful face and wonder how I got so lucky to have a guy like him love me.

"Does this mean it's over?" I asked getting a confused and worried look from everyone.

"What no, you're going to be fine," Derek said.

"Izzy give her more." He ordered her.

"It's a one shot thing. I was hoping it would last longer." She answered him.

"Stand back," Mellissa said as she came over and started checking my vitals.

I must look worse than I feel.

She placed the plastic lung thing over my mouth and started working it.

I was trying to talk. To tell Derek I was sorry but I could not form words. Just incoherent grunts.

Then everything started to fade into the familiar darkness.

Until I was standing in the light again. It only took a second for me to realize I was dead. I stood behind Derek who was crying as he watched Mellissa shock me with the paddles. In between shocks, Izzy was trying to pump air into my lungs with the plastic lung.

Then a girl I had never seen appeared in the room scaring Mellissa but anyone else. I watched as Mellissa tried to shock me again. Derek was fighting with the brunet who must be the girl who had the antidote but she was too late. I reached out and placed my hand on Derek's shoulder except it went right through him.

He stopped yelling and looked behind him like he could feel me. Then said something to Mellissa who was still trying to revive me.

I wanted to tell him it was okay. That it did not hurt anymore but he could not hear me.
