What every Lizzy was trying to do she needed to do it now. The fire was lit and spreading fast. Thana was screaming out in pain while everyone else was trying to get through the barrier. Derek was out of his mind as he clawed away with no progression.

"Lizzy!" I yelled again with no answer she was so focused on what she was doing I don't think she had any idea what was going on around her.

"Now!" Izzy yelled as a small door sized opening appeared in front of her hands.

I quickly ran threw not paying attention to anyone else.

"I can't hold it much longer!" She yelled.

I could hear others footsteps behind me but I did not have time to look back to see who it was. I ran straight at the closets witch hunter to me. I jumped at her ready to do whatever needed to be done to save my sister but before I could reach her a gun shot rang out and a sharp pain in my back dropped me to the ground. I looked behind me to see the leader holding a gun that was pointed at me. She looked like she was going to shoot me again when a black wolf leaped on her. The two of them fell to the ground because the black wolf had her by the throat. It took me a second to regain my senses and force myself to my knees as I watched the remaining witch hunters scramble in fear as they watched Derek's tare out there leaders throat.

I looked back up to Thana who had stopped screaming. The fire had spread so high I could barely see her threw the flames. I got to my feet and was stopped by one of the witches who held her hands up keeping me frozen into place. Her eyes where focused on me as I tried to fight against her. Another gunshot was heard this one close to my ear making it hard to hear. The witch in front of me fell to her knees. I looked behind me to see my dad has shot her.

"Get your sister!" He yelled as he opened fire on someone else.

I could see Malia out of the corner of my eye fighting as well. I hoped that they could handle the hunters because I had no other choice to rely on them. I ran towards Thana, towards the fire that I had no other choice but to leap into. I reached the middle of the fire. I could feel the flames start to burn my skin as I started to pull her from the pole. I could see and hear her skin rip from her body as I pulled her away. Once she was free, I jumped out of the fire with her in my arms.

I held her in my lap as sat on the ground. As I looked at her, I couldn't tell if she was dead or alive. Her entire body was burnt, to the point where she was unrecognizable.

"Help!" I yelled.

I needed help, she needed help. I had never seen anything this bad before I had no idea how to help her or even if we could.

"Help!" I yelled again and this time Derek ran up to us.

"Oh my god." He said as he fell to his knees next to me.

"Derek what do I do?" I asked him.

When he didn't give me an answer, I looked away from Thana for the first time to see he was crying. Seeing his tears broke me and I started crying as well. If Derek had given up hope, if he was convinced there was no saving her it must be true.

"Scott!" Dad yelled as he ran over to me.

He stopped when he reached us.

"What do I do?" I asked him.

He didn't respond either he just stood there staring at us. I don't know who or when someone called 911 but at some point, someone must have because cops and paramedics showed up to take Thana. At first, I didn't want to hand her over but Deaton assured me that I had to let her go. It was only after the ambulance had drove off with her that I came to my senses.
