Waiting for a girl and she gets me into fights
Waiting for a girl we get drunk on Friday night
She's a sight for sore eyes
Waiting for a factory girl

Water. Suffocating. Death.

There were better ways to wake up and definitely less painful ways. The first thing I saw was darkness and didn't understand why I had the vision, but then I felt it. Warmth. There was definitely somebody in my bed and guessing by the vision it was Brian. I sighed. I thought I had told him that I wouldn't sleep with him... seemed like he didn't really care about that.

"Sorry for waking you, but I really don't like being alone..."

"It's fine. Night." I mumbled and I could feel him smile. I thought I heard him utter a thank you too, but I was so tired I probably had imagined it.

I had been so tired that by morning I had forgotten that he was there in the first place and like the first night I nearly jumped out of bed when I saw him next to me. I probably really needed to get used to this, because in all honesty I doubted he would just stop doing this. At least I hadn't woken him up this time around.

That getting ready would take me longer at his than at mine, I had already expected it, but that I couldn't even eat something hadn't been on my mind at all. His fridge was next to empty, or at least didn't contain anything to eat for breakfast. I guessed he wasn't really the type to eat breakfast, or slept for so long in the mornings that he probably no longer needed one. I sighed and had a tea. Seemed like I need to buy something along the way, I thought. At any rate I probably had enough time to eat it. It was a long way by tube.

Time went by slowly and it didn't seem to go forward. Although I arrived in time, I couldn't do this every day... It took me two hours a day to travel through the city and for what? I sighed. Next time I met someone and he is going to die, I not only run away, but stay away as well. Definitely. I just hoped it would really change something, if I was only staying at his for him to die in the end, I'll probably go insane.

When I walked in Mr. Evan greeted me like usual and sent me to help Ben, who was already handling a few things in the back. I joined him and we worked nearly the whole morning in silence. Ben never really talked to me, besides work related things, but nothing more. Not that I was the most talkative person, but I had at least tried to make small talk out of politeness. He however seemed to ignore me complete and I often wondered why. I mean we were nearly the same age, had the same job and I had never done anything to upset him, at least not that I remember and still he treated me like air. I didn't ask, because it didn't seem polite and still I was curious, but I guess this was one of the things you'll always wonder about but never find out or maybe one day by luck.

The afternoon we had to handle a few clients and Mr. Evan had to leave for a short while, but beside that it was a normal and quiet day. He still hadn't returned by five, but neither Ben nor I wanted to wait for him to return. Ben had a spare key and well we put everything in order and decided to close on our own. He let me out and closed the door. I was just about to say goodbye, but somebody was faster.

"Charlie! I thought you'll never finish up..." I nearly dropped my purse. What was Brian doing here?  "I am here to pick you up. Hurry up I waited long enough."

Still somewhat in shock I mumbled a goodbye towards Ben, who looked even more shocked than me and well went with Brian. He wasn't driving this time around. Of course beside a maid, he had a chauffeur too.

"Why did you pick me up?" The question had burned inside my head since his strange announcement, but I held it back, until we were seated in the car. It seemed odd discussing these things on the street.
