Tooru hadn't planned on a lazy day inside - he had planned a cute, romantic picnic at the small neighborhood park, complete with all of he and (f/n)'s favorite foods and beverages. But when he got to (f/n)'s dorm and found her asleep on the couch his plans were out the door. All he could think about was how damn comfortable sleeping on that couch with (f/n) would be.

So, he set the picnic basket down and moved to lie with (f/n). Because of the lack of space he didn't end up beside (f/n) and actually ended up pressing his body over hers, almost completely lying on top of her. He knew that if he had fully rested on her he'd squish her, so he kept most of his weight on his knees and elbows, letting his body barely touch (f/n)'s.

She didn't start moving until Tooru started kissing her face all over, managing to kiss most of the surface area of her face before she was opening her eyes and stirring on the couch. "Why?" she asked rather pathetically, her voice a mere whine.

Tooru pressed his nose against her neck and kissed it a few times before bringing his head up to smile wide at her. "I want to sleep on the couch with you so I need to move you," he explained. (f/n) threw her arms around his neck, permission for him to do as he pleased in order for her to rest still.

She didn't move much at all when Tooru flipped their bodies around clumsily, just let him handle her body. (f/n) had never understood how people could flip others so easily - Tooru was strong and graceful as hell, but when it came to flipping her around he was always a little clumsy about it. She figured the easy, effortless flip was a myth - Tooru couldn't do it, so nobody probably could.

She ended up on top of her boyfriend, head resting on his shoulder and her arms stuffed awkwardly by his shoulders. She lifted her head slightly to look at him before burrowing back into his body, a small shiver running through her.

"How are you could in the middle of summer?" Tooru asked, arms wrapping tighter around her.

(f/n) pouted. "You know I have very low body temperature," she mumbled into his neck, and Tooru chuckled in response.

"I know," he said. He turned a bit so that (f/n) was in between him and the back of the couch, probably the warmest place she could be. "It's just super cute that you can always be so cuddly and cold even during the hottest days of the year."

(f/n) frowned, but she only moved again a few minutes later. She let Tooru hold her close until she was done being cold, and then she was sitting up to straddle her boyfriend, her hands going under his shirt.

"(f-f/n), no - " he was cut off when she started moving her fingers against his sides, and instead of words it was loud laughs and squeals that were escaping him. (f/n) smiled wide as she tickled him, loving the look on his face and the laughs that were leaving him - they were so damn real and she could listen to them forever.

"Rude Tooru making fun of me," she said, moving her fingers closer to her boyfriends armpits where he was the most ticklish, and he was laughing even louder then.

"(f-f/n)!" he shouted, voice hoarse through his laughs and heaved breaths. He tried his hardest to control himself, to try and fix his breathing but he couldn't with (f/n)'s fingers still dancing over his sides. "(f/n) I'm -" he cut himself off with a high pitched squeal and a loud laugh, his nose scrunched up. "Sorry, I'm sorry (f/n)!" he managed to get out, and it was then (f/n)'s fingers stopped.

Tooru spent the next minute or two regaining his breath, his chest heaving. His cheeks were red and his mouth was pulled into a wide smile still, and (f/n)'s breath was taken away by how real he looked in that moment. No fake smiles, no trying to impress her - it was just him and (f/n), and he didn't need to try with her.

(f/n) couldn't help herself when she leaned down to kiss him slowly, taking his breath away all over again, but in a way Tooru much preferred. Kissing was a nice way of taking his breath away - it was relaxing and comforting, just him and (f/n) - the total opposite of being tickled.

When she pulled away from the kiss (f/n) opened her eyes to see Tooru with his eyes still closed, and she just about cried. "You're so fucking pretty that it's stupid," she mumbled to him.

He tried to play it off like the comment hadn't affected him, his mouth pulling into a wide smile and his left eye dropping into a wink, but his cheeks had grown a little more red and his eyes had softened even more.

"So," (f/n) said, relaxing back onto his stomach. Her hands were spread out on his chest, keeping her steady in place. "What's in the picnic basket?"

Tooru glanced over at the forgotten basket, trying to remember what all he had packed. "Everything we love to eat, really," he told her, his gaze snapping back to her. "I wanted to go to the park, but now I just wanna stay here."

(f/n) moved off of him to get the basket, dragging it back to the couch. She sat back on top of Tooru and started taking out some of the foods, making her own little picnic on Tooru's chest and the coffee table.

"We should start with the cake," she suggested, reaching over to grab the sweet he had packed. Tooru agreed, a smile wide on his face and they commenced the picnic on (f/n)'s couch, smiles wide and real in the presence of just each other.

Oikawa being ticklish as hell is one of my top Oikawa headcannons.

This is the last Oikawa one for a while because I have written so many one shots for him lately - time to let our other babies shine :')
