Iwaizumi Hajime || Kisses

requested by erodrelle -- I was already writing it so I was v happy when you requested Iwaizumi xD was gonna be angst but I couldn't do it so I hope you enjooyyy ^.^

first kiss:

Their first kiss was a dare, and it was awkward as hell - (f/n) was too nervous to move her lips in response to Iwaizumi's and his mouth was too far to the right to hit directly on her lips. It was absolutely terrible, and the eyes of other third years - both volleyball players and not - watching them didn't help at all, and neither did Oikawa in the background laughing his ass off.

They couldn't meet each other's eyes afterwards, both flushed and embarrassed at what had happened. (f/n) shouldn't have choose dare - Oikawa had found out about her crush on Iwaizumi just a few days prior to the party -, but she didn't want to come across as a scaredy cat because she wasn't a scaredy cat.

They kissed again for the second time only half an hour later when Iwaizumi finally built up the courage to walk to (f/n) and talk with her. The second kiss led to a third and a fourth and then many more after that.

kiss in the rain:

It wasn't supposed to rain - Iwaizumi had hoped and prayed that it wasn't going to rain, but here he was, standing under a tree huddled with (f/n), trying to protect themselves from the rain.

"I'm sorry," he told her over and over again because all he had wanted was to walk in the park with her but it was ruined by the damn rain.

(f/n) smiled up at him and kissed his nose lightly. "I don't mind, really, it was supposed to be sunny but I don't hate the rain," she said. She then proceeded to pull him out from their protection under the tree. "Plus this is supposed to be super romantic." She then pulled him into a kiss.

It wasn't all that romantic - it was too wet from the rain so their lips were sliding against each other's in an uncomfortable manner - but it was nice. (f/n) was giggling against Iwaizumi's lips and he was smiling so damn big that he wasn't sure this could actually be classified as a kiss - it was more like laughing and smiling on each other's mouths, but it was nice. Good. Comforting.

They kissed in the rain for a few minutes after that, and only decided to leave when (f/n) noticed Iwaizumi's lips were turning blue.

sleepy kisses:

Six in the morning was early - it was too damn early, and (f/n) thought it should be illegal to have to wake up that early on a Saturday. But she opened her eyes slowly anyway to see Iwaizumi still sleeping beside her, his face serene in sleep.

She leaned forward to start kissing under his jaw, which woke him up quickly - it had always surprised (f/n) how light of a sleeper he was. "Morning sleeping beauty," she mumbled and Iwaizumi leaned down to kiss her nose.

"Morning," he mumbled, his breath fanning over (f/n)'s face. It didn't smell great, but she leaned up to kiss him anyways. They were both still half asleep so their mouths were moving slowly, just lazy brushes of their lips together.

(f/n) pulled away slowly to talk, her eyes fluttering open to meet Iwaizumi's. "Do we have to wake up?"

He smiled softly at her. "Yeah, I'm sorry."

(f/n) hummed and kissed him again. "It's okay, just kiss me a little more to make up for it."

Iwaizumi did just that.

(f/n)'s favorite kiss:

It had been a long, stressful, stupid day. Her best friend was mad at her for reasons (f/n) didn't know, she'd failed a pop quiz, and instead of getting to cuddle Iwaizumi and feel better she had to wait for him to go to get out of practice.

She did wait for him because she didn't want to be home alone, sat alone on the bleachers with a small frown on her face. Iwaizumi noticed something was wrong when Mattsun and Makki started making puns and (f/n) didn't join in. He walked over to her during a water break and grabbed her face in his hands. "You okay?"

(f/n) shook her head as best she could. "I just wanna go home and cuddle with you and watch some tv."

Iwaizumi smiled softly and nodded. "We can do that once I finish practice, okay? And you can tell me all about your day." (f/n) nodded an agreement and then Iwaizumi pulled her close for a kiss.

It was short and chaste, but Iwaizumi was so gentle with it, and his thumbs moved carefully on her cheekbones while they kissed. (f/n) hummed in disapproval as he pulled away, but Iwaizumi kissed her on the forehead before pulling away.

"More kisses later, okay?"

"Okay."

Iwa-Chan's favorite kiss:

It was after their first fight - (f/n) had been talking with Oikawa, Iwaizumi had gotten jealous, he had angrily said a few words to (f/n) and an argument ensued.

It was the first time either of them had been angry with each other, and Iwaizumi wasn't even angry with her, he was just insecure because Oikawa was always better. "You're being stupid, Hajime. Why would I flirt with Oikawa?"

"Because he's Oikawa?" Iwaizumi replied, his face stern to hide the terrible feeling of utter sadness that was creeping up in him. (f/n)'s expression changed from one of defense to one of understanding, and she let a small laugh escape her.

"Hajime, I like you," she said, finger poking his chest. "Like so much that it's stupid. Yeah, Oikawa is good looking and funny, but he's no Iwaizumi Hajime, and that's what I need." She grabbed his arms and pulled him closer to her, a small smile on her face.

Iwaizumi's eyes were still wet and his face muscles were still tight, but (f/n) pulled him down for a kiss, and he relaxed immediately. It was the most passionate, heartfelt kiss they'd shared, and Iwaizumi felt himself tearing up again at the amount of feelings behind it.

When (f/n) pulled away she smiled at him and he smiled back with a wobbly bottom lip.

bonus kiss:

"I do." Iwaizumi was smiling like an idiot, staring at the girl in front of him with eyes full of adoration.

"I know pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Iwaizumi didn't miss a beat and pulled (f/n) in, kissing her passionately while everyone in the church broke into applause.

It was the best kiss - their last one as a pair that was dating and their first one as a married couple. It transformed their relationship, it made them whole and new, and after they pulled away they looked at each other with eyes full of love and raw passion.

They were excited for more kisses - sleepy kisses and kisses in the rain and kisses in times where words wouldn't suffice. Kisses full of fear and full of happiness. Kisses for every moment they were going to share, just kisses for everything.

They kissed a few more times in front of everyone, living in the moment a bit, and then proceeded to walk out of the church, (f/n) in Iwaizumi's arms.

ANYWAYS it's saturday which means that I get to spend the rest of today and all of tomorrow watching anime and finishing requests and posting updates so that's pretty cool.
