(f/n) didn't want to be where she was.

Being with Suga was good - she liked Suga more than she should, and she had all three years they'd been in high school, so his company was nice.

But being on his back because she'd managed to embarrass herself so much and twisted her ankle wasn't fun. She hates, hates being picked up and carried, and she hates making a fool of herself even more. So, this wasn't the ideal situation.

She hadn't wanted the situation before to go as it did, but she didn't know how to shut her mouth when she was supposed to - the words spilled out whenever she thought them. She'd always been told that she'd make friends better if she wasn't so awkward and blunt, but the way she spoke was as hard to fix as her social anxiety was - it was a part of the social anxiety, a sort of defense mechanism.

She knew that she wasn't good at making friends, but the girls at her school still thought it was their job to point out how rude and straight forward she was like she didn't know, like she hadn't tried to fix it.

And this time she'd been too straight forward in front of Suga, and even though he'd seen it before she still gets so damn embarrassed, and then she'd twisted her ankle. If she hadn't needed help getting home she would have probably avoided Suga for a few weeks.

"Why do you even like me?" she mumbled to him eventually, her voice sad.

Suga turned his head a little to look at her before looking back ahead of them. "Why wouldn't I?"

(f/n) scoffed. "Do you never talk to me? I'm blunt and mean and socially stupid-"

"Social anxiety does not make you socially stupid," Suga corrected, but (f/n) just continued.

"And my defense to people being even a little teasing with me is to be mean to them. Like, why do I do that? I could just think for a minute and say something passive aggressive back but I literally have to say the first mean thing that comes to my mind."

"That's why I like you," Suga reasoned. (f/n) scoffed again. "I'm telling the truth," he says, and despite the amount of sincerity in his voice (f/n) can't believe him. "You're real, (f/n), and you don't sugarcoat things. You're nice to me and the other people who understand you, and you never hesitate to tell me when I'm doing something that isn't good and you're always so good at helping Asahi become more secure with himself despite how insecure you are yourself. Yeah, sometimes you say things that are mean, but you feel bad when you're unnecessarily mean which shows a lot of great character traits. You're so, so hard on yourself which shows that you just want to be good enough for everyone but you're already good enough, (f/n)."

She was speechless at his words and opted for stuffing her face into his scarf. They were quiet for the majority of the rest of the walk, (f/n) only talking when they were getting close to her house. "I'm very lucky to have you, Suga."

He smiled back at her and (f/n) could feel a little anxiety rushing through her because she wanted to kiss his cheek and his jaw and his lips but that wasn't aproppriate.

"I think it's I who is lucky," Suga countered, and (f/n) was blushing then. "And I would be even more lucky if you'd let me take you out - prefferably when you can walk again because me carrying you around wouldn't be a fun time."

(f/n) was smiling and blushing but she still managed a scoff at his words. "Fuck you, Sugawara," she said, her face going back to his neck. "But I'd really love to if you were being serious."

Suga assures her that he was being totally serious and he carries (f/n) to her front door and kisses her forehead before he leaves. It was weird, but (f/n) liked it. Maybe her blutness wasn't too bad - it got her Suga, in the end.
