Noya was requested by trxshychan -- Like with the Konoha one I'm sorry it's so late but I really didn't want it to be shitty so I rewrote it until I was pleased, and I hope you like it too ^.^

(f/n) was trying - she really, really was trying - but she couldn't, for the life of her, express how she felt to Noya.
They'd been dating for a while now - almost nine months - and Noya was always the first to do everything; he asked her out, he kissed her first, was always the one planning out dates, everything. (f/n) didn't deserve it really - when she tried to do anything remotely heartfelt for him she grew too nervous, couldn't speak or breathe even, and Noya always understood, every damn time, and communicated the feelings perfectly.
It was frustrating to her, physically not being able to express how she felt, but Noya was the perfect boyfriend and dealt with it, and even though he couldn't understand it he tried his hardest to understand her. It was impossible for him - he was boisterous and loud about his feelings, expressing them whether they were negative or positive; he liked when people knew how he felt, and he liked having people feel what he was feeling with him.
Personality wise they were polar opposites, but they both put in a lot of effort to make it work, and the results were ones that (f/n) loved as much as she did Noya - and that's what the problem was now. She loved Noya - she really did, even after only nine months of dating, and she wanted to tell him.
Problem was she couldn't say the words out loud - she could when she was alone, she could say anything when she was alone and she was sure the only thing that could hear her was her fish - but she couldn't even ask her mother for help because she couldn't say the words 'I think I love Noya' out loud.
She decided that Tanaka could help - he'd always been pretty good at helping her come up with solutions to her problems - so she managed to get him alone and decided to ask him.
"I want to tell Noya," she paused, wringing her hands together in front of her, "how I feel," she finished quietly, her cheeks turning pink and her eyes focusing solely on her shoes.
"Well then tell him," Tanaka said, not understanding the problem.
(f/n) frowned. "I don't know how." Tanaka, obviously confused, asked her to elaborate. "Whenever I go to say the words I... I can't."
Tanaka hummed and put his hand on his chin, thinking. They were awkwardly silent for a moment, Tanaka's humming filling the silence a little, but nothing else being said. Tanaka startled (f/n) when he snapped his fingers and smiled at her triumphantly. "There are ways to tell someone you love them without saying those exact words, right?"
(f/n) thought for a moment and nodded slowly. "I guess there are."
Tanaka allowed his smile to brighten. "Then you've just got to tell Noya kind things like that, and you won't have to say the exact words."
(f/n) nodded, and she spent the rest of the day thinking of ways to tell Noya she loved him without actually telling him.
*****
Later that night she and Noya were in her house, sitting on her couch together, and she was trying to build up her courage. It was the perfect time to tell him - it was a serene moment, cuddled together on the couch under a blanket, watching some stupid rom-com, and (f/n) figured there would never be a more perfect moment.
"Nishinoya," she said quietly, and the boy looked at her immediately, eyes wide and focused on just her. That made (f/n) nervous, and she looked down to her hands in her lap. "Umm, there's something I want to tell you," she started out lamely, her voice barely a whisper.
Lucky for her Noya was close enough to hear, and he smiled wide at her. "I'll listen to anything you have to say," he says, and (f/n)'s heartbeat sped up then because it was her turn to speak again.
"Umm," she said, letting her fingers move. All of the things she wanted to say, everything she had written down and planned to tell him, fled her mind, and it was now full of nothing but the words and excuses she'd always use when she grew to nervous to say what she wanted.
"I really like your hair," she said, and yeah it was super lame but it was a start for her. "And I'm very proud of how hard you worked on block following that month you were suspended from activities, and you're outlook on life is so, so amazing, it really inspires me even if it doesn't seem like it, and I like how great of a senpai you are to Hinata, and you're so damn humble about how good you are at things and how important you are and uhh, I," she stuttered, wanting to get the actually words out so bad.
Nishinoya let her be silent for a moment before he smiled wide, "I love you too, (f/n)."
(f/n) blushed at the use of the three words and the use of her given name, something Nishinoya had never said before. "H-How -"
"You only ever get that nervous when you want to say something important, and I've noticed that you've been acting... different lately." (f/n) raised her eyebrows in question, so Nishinoya explained. "You've been a little more - sincere and I don't know, loving is the best word to describe it, really. You have been cooking for me more and kissing me softer and longer and moving to hold my hand more often instead of waiting for me to do it. You don't have to say it for me to know it."
(f/n)'s eyes were getting watery because Noya was too much, was more than she could ever deserve, and she didn't know how to handle it. "I'm sorry I'm not better with words," she mumbled, but Noya wasn't having any of it.
The best part about them being almost the same size was that Noya didn't have to hesitate in moving to sit in (f/n)'s lap, his face right in front of her's. "We show our love in different ways. I do with words, and you do with the way you take care of me and make sure I'm taking care of myself. You don't have to say it out loud for me to know that's how you feel, (f/n)."
(f/n) blushed again at the use of her given name. "Thank you, Yuu."
Nishinoya smiled wide and actually cheered at the use of his first name before he was leaning in to kiss (f/n). "You're the best," he said after kissing her. "Say my name again please? It's super nice coming from you."
(f/n) blushed bright red and pushed the boy off of her lap and on to the floor, where he continued laughing. "Shut up," she said in an embarrassed tone, and then a little quieter, "Yuu."
"WOOHOO!" Noya cheered from the floor. "Best day ever!"
