I'm sorry it's been so long.

I'm sorry this is kind of shitty - I wrote it in like an hour and didn't even edit it but I can't sleep and have to be up for work in four hours so I had to do something.

I'll try to update tomorrow or something, but I can't make promises. I hope this doesn't disappoint too much, and I really hope you're all doing okay ^.^

It was no secret to anyone that knew her that (f/n) was an easily stressed person - she took on too much all the time, accepting more work than she could handle because she wanted to help, she wanted to be a good person - that was one of the reasons Tetsurou fell in love with her -, but she just didn't appreciate her limits, and it was ultimately her downfall.

She was buried under work, half her own and the rest work she offered to do to make other's lives easier, not heading Tetsurou's warnings to take it easy and relax - once she was stressed she didn't know the meaning of the word relax. It left her brain along with everything that wasn't related to the job she was doing, the job she was helping with.

Tetsurou tried his hardest to be a good boyfriend, to support her through all of the extra work she brought onto herself, and it usually worked. He supported her, fed her throughout the days that she was too busy to think about food, and then he calmed her enough to get her to sleep in their bed at night, despite her wanting to stay up and work. He understood how she felt, because he'd worked himself to the point of stress in high school, and he knew the things (f/n) wasn't thinking about, knew the things she was ignoring to finish the things that weren't actually all that important.

But this time, the time (f/n) took on more than she and Tetsu could have probably handled together, he decided that he needed to use a little bit of tough love to get through to his girlfriend.

*****

It was for work again, the job (f/n) had started off as just an intern for and worked her way rather high up on the chain with solely hard work and determination. And Tetsurou was proud, he really was - (f/n)'s ability to imagine her dreams, and then turn all of the hope into motivation and determination and work towards her goals until she achieved them was attractive as hell, but it wasn't healthy. The lack of sleep, of food, of water - none of it was healthy, and Tetsurou didn't want to watch (f/n) tear herself apart over something that could be helped.

It was supposed to be a group presentation for her boss - (f/n) and four others from her department - but the others decided (f/n) was a hard enough worker and could get it done herself, and they left her to plan the entire presentation alone, research and display and all. She agreed to do it so she didn't seem like a burden - she was the newest member of the department, and she didn't want to look like she couldn't handle something; she didn't want to look weak.

So, she dropped everything that wasn't the presentation and spent every waking moment she wasn't at work working on the presentation. She quit the plans she had with her mom, with her friends, with Tetsu, and she stayed at home or in the office to work on the presentation until it was perfect.

The third day of this Tetsu had enough.

He knew it wasn't his say - (f/n) had made it very clear before they even started dating that she was a strong person, that she didn't need any help caring for herself, especially not from a boyfriend - but what she was doing wasn't healthy, and Tetsurou wasn't going to stand by as (f/n) literally worked until she was sick.

He walked in through the door after work that day, one-hundred percent ready to take (f/n) out, no matter what she said. He found her where he figured he would at the kitchen table with papers and charts strewn all around her. It was a mess, even more so than it had been the prior days, and it honestly scared Tetsurou.
