Supergirl? National City? Something was terribly wrong, I thought to myself. I knew of Superman, but not of Supergirl. So many metas and heroes these days.....
"So, this....Supergirl...what does she do?" I asked.
"Oh well I-she can fly, shoot lasers, she has super strength, invincibility, ooh! And she can-"
"We've heard enough. We know it's you, and you don't have to worry about keeping it a secret. We know what that's like."
"Especially from those who you care about," Barry chimed in.
"Exactly.......anyway, I can bring you to National City until you find a way home. I have some friends who can help," she said before holding out her hands to shake:
"Kara Danvers."
"Chloe and Barry Allen...well...soon to be..."
"Congratulations! I didn't know you were a thing. That's so cute! Fighting crime together....being together.."
"Yeah....It's great......Let's go," we said before we slid our masks on our face and got ready to run. Out of nowhere, she ripped her work clothes off to reveal a uniform. It looked like Superman's, but I had a skirt and boots. In a matter of seconds, she was gone and in the sky.
She brought us to this place she calls: The DEO. We met James, Winn, and her sister Alex. They introduced us to their new threat.
"If you need help, while we're here, we can put our powers to use."
"That would be nice. It wouldn't hurt to have a few sets of hands," Kara said. "Especially with Siobhan. She just came up to me and "screamed" in my face. But it was powerful. I fell out the window. And luckily, I was caught by them. But she is dangerous and we have to stop her before she gets out of contr-" Kara said before she was interrupted by an alarm. Everyone was frantically running around the DEO solving whatever problem was at hand. Barry and I sped around to see Siobhan standing in front of a broken cell. The villain came out of the cell and disappeared into electricity. Siobhan looked at us and smirked:
"Looks like you were too slow," she said before shrieking and leaving. Barry and I were on the ground and we cupped our ears.
     Kara came running in and got us off the ground. She took us back to her two other nerdy like friends so we could discuss this with them.
"Guys, this is Barry and Chloe. They're heroes in another city. But they're stuck in our city and we need to get them home. So while you figure out how to do that, they are going to help me fight Livewire and Siobhan."
"Great plan. So tell me, are you aliens?"
"No, Particle Accelerator Explosion as well as being struck by lightning. We were given super speed and we go around as The Flashes."
"That's cool. So you're Superheroes?" James asked.
"Mmmmhhmm" Barry replied annoyed. "Hold on," he said running out of the apartment. He sped in a few seconds later with ice cream comes for all of us.
"Yes!" Kara said before she took a lick of her cone. "You guys track them and tell us when you got their location. I'm going to introduce them to Clark and Avery."
"You got it boss!" Winn said before Kara flew out of the apartment to her house. Barry and I followed. When we walked in, there were 2 people sitting on the couch. One in a suit, and the other in a dress.
"Avery, Clark, this is Chloe and Barry."
"Nice to meet you," they both said standing up and shaking our hands.
"They are visiting from......Metropolis and they work at the Daily Planet. They are close friends of James and they are coming to help me with a piece I'm writing. And in return, they are going to stay here for a few days. Is that okay?" Kara asked.
"Yeah. So tell us about yourselves...." Avery said curiously.
"Well, we're two......writers who met James when he lived in Metropolis. We are engaged and are going to be married soon. I see you are a thing," Barry said talking about Avery's arm wrapped around Clark's. Barry just wanted to get off the subject of us to make it less awkward.
"Oh yeah. We're dating. He hasn't put a ring on this yet," she said holding out her hand.
After an hour of awkward conversation, Kara gave us word on Livewire's location. When Clark and Avery went into their room, we took the initiative to get suited up and go to the location without a plan.
"Look who decided to join," Livewire said acknowledging us. "Super speed.....Super cool.....but not as cool as this," she said pointing out her friend who appeared. It was Siobhan, but she was dressed in some skeleton Halloween costume looking clothes. Very intimidating, but well applied makeup.
"Its over. Give up."
"Never," Barry and I said feeling the lightning in our eyes. We sped around Livewire, but it was hard to keep up with her because she was going into all the electrical work in the building. Kara was handling Siobhan until she was blown against a wall. That distracted us, and we got shocked by Livewire. We barely made it out, but we did and we were lucky.
"What was that?" Winn asked when we returned. "What happened to planning first?"
"I wanted to go out without one because they are dangerous. I need to win over the city's trust after the bizzarro freak out."
"Kara," I said placing a hand on her shoulder. "You can't force it. We've been in the same situation, and it's hard. Living a life like we do can be a lot to juggle and a lot of pressure. You feel pressured to please everyone and you would kill to make every one in the city love you again, but you have to give it time. When they see everything you're doing, they'll come back. Try less, shine more."
"Thank you Chloe," Kara replied.
"I'm glad that her talks with Kara aren't like the ones she has with me," Barry said winking. When he realized what he said and did, he blushed. I coughed and tried to change the subject.
*Cough, cough* "Moving on! Let's make a plan so we're prepared next time now-"
"Guys, Cat's been kidnapped," Alex said running in.
"They must have gotten her at her office. We need to get her back now."
"According to this, Livewire and......Silver Banshee are in the park," Winn said. "Wait, take these," He said handing us each an earpiece. "It will protect you from Silver Banshee. Just a little something i've-we've been working on." With that thought, we were suited up and following Kara to the park.
"Hey Shrieky!" Barry called. Livewire and Silver Banshee whipped their heads around and clenched their fists. Cat Grant was tied up on a nearby bench.
"Let's settle this like women," Barry said. All of us were confused by his comment and gave him a confused look.
"What, they're are more of you guys here than me."
"Let's!" They said before throwing blasts and punches. We switched off who covered who and a crowd started forming. At one point, Silver Banshee shot down a helicopter and it was heading directly for the group of people. Kara jumped into the air and took the heat for the airplane. She got it away from the people, but it left her weak. The crowd's expressions changed after that.
"She saved us," one said.
"Our hero," said another. Barry and I finished off the duo by breaking the fire hydrant, eliminating Livewire, and using our speed to get rid of Silver Banshee. The cops took over and we untied Cat.
"I don't know who you are personally, but I know you're Kara's pals," she whispered in our ears. We ran over to Kara, picked her up, and sped her to the DEO.
"Nice work every one!" Winn cheered, walking into the room we were in. James followed along with Alex.
"One more to add to the list, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the Flashes."
"No problem. And thanks for letting us help you. I know you said we were going to be here for days, but it will only need to be one day."
"Actually sooner," Barry said. "I was working with Winn and the guys and we came up with a way to go home. When we helped Wells return to his time, we sped him as fast as we could and threw him in. We just have to do the same thing. And Kara, since she can fly, combined with our speed will be just the right amount of force."
"Perfect! Thanks for everything!" I said going up to Winn, James, and Alex. I hugged them and we said our goodbyes. We then sped to the field we brought Kara to earlier in the day.
"Well, this is it," Kara said patting her leg.
"I guess so. Thank you really for everything."
"No problem. And thank you for helping out with those two-"
"Metas. In our City that's what they're called."
"Yeah. But anyway, thank you also for helping the city have faith in me again."
"It had nothing to do with me. I just said words. You're the one who took them and put them to action." Kara threw herself at me and hugged me.
"I would give you my phone number, but I don't think my carrier covers over earths," I said.
"Bye Barry," she said hugging him. We said our final goodbyes and that's when it was time to go. I was sad to leave, but we would come back sometime when we had the whole time travel thing under control. We got into position and sped. Kara flew behind us using all the speed she could, along with us. When it was time for her to throw us, she got lower to the ground and used her strength along with our speed to propel us into the newly formed portal.
When we got in, we saw similar events to what we had seen before: Supergirl, Superman, and many superheroes we haven't seen before. One that we could recognize was Batman. But our thoughts were interrupted when we sped into S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Guys! You're back! What happened? We were worried."
"Let's just say that there are more than 2 earths, and metas don't just exist on this one....We met Supergirl in National City. How much time passed?"
"Wait....there's two of them? Was she cute? And you were only gone for a minute in this time." Cisco said.
"That's odd because on their earth it was a lot longer than a minute. We helped her take down a few metas. That's all."
"Why did I think travelling to a third earth would be more fun?" Cisco asked himself.
I felt a little dizzy at that moment and fell backwards. I was caught by Barry's arms.
"Chloe, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. I think I'm just a bit shaken because of everything that went on today."
"Ok. I'm gonna take her home.........don't even Cisco," Barry said before picking me up and speeding me home.
Barry and I went home that night and discussed anything and everything else until we were interrupted by a phone call.........
