Caitlin began to cry softly on the floor, and I ran over to comfort her. We were all grieving Jay's death, but Caitlin had it the worst. She wouldn't leave S.T.A.R Labs, and she wouldn't talk to anyone. A week has past, and we have all "gotten over" the shock of losing him. But she is having problems letting go.
"Caitlin, you have to go home. Take a shower and get some sleep. You can't stay here forever."
"But I have to. I have to find a way to stop Zoom. I have to avenge Jay."
"No, you don't. I'll take you home," Cisco said grabbing the keys to the van. "Not what I meant," Cisco said blushing before he left.
"Okay," I said before looking at Barry.
"Oh, crap! I forgot that tonight was family night. I'm just gonna tell Joe I'm not feeling good or something."
"No Mister! You're going to Joe's, whether you like it or not. You need to bond with Wally."
"But he has it out for me. He hates me. I can't connect. It's just so...awkward."
"If just come will it be a little easier for you?" I asked.
"Maybe, but I don't want to put you through that."
"If it helps you, than I want to."
"What did I do to deserve someone like you?" Barry asked me.
"I don't know. But are you going to stand there and look sexy, or are you going to kiss me?" I asked before Barry bent over and kissed me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and pulled me as close as he could without hurting the bump.
"Get a room you two," Cisco said peering out from the entrance of the cortex. I rolled my eyes and continued to kiss Barry passionately in front of Cisco. Cisco kept making noises of disgust, and that's what made it more fun for Barry and I.
"What don't you just rip each others clothes off already? Your gonna do it anyways...." Cisco told us. We broke the kiss, and Cisco had sat down at his computer. I spoke to him:
"I thought you were bringing Caitlin,"
"I was but she called a cab instead."
"Okay. Well we have to get ready for family night. Have fun!" I said before we sped over to Joe's. After standing on the doorstep straightening out, I rang the doorbell.
"Hey guys!" Wally exclaimed from the entryway. We went inside, and Barry helped me sit on the couch. We sat for a while and talked with Joe, Iris, and Wally, until Joe brought out a game.
"No not this!" Barry muttered under his breath. I grabbed his hand and held it, trying to get him to relax.
"You all know the rules, the fastest one to stack these cups into a tower and de-stack them wins. Wally, you wanna try first?"
"I guess I will," Wally said before he grabbed the cups. Iris was on the timer and when the timer went, Wally was off. He stacked the cups and back in a matter of 30 seconds and we were all impressed.
"Wally, you were so close to beating the house record. The fastest time was 23 seconds by Barry. You'll get it next time," Joe said. After that comment, Wally moved on to something else.
"Hey Barry, I have this project. Can you help me with it?"
     "Sure, what's it about?"
"Car engines. It's for my class. It's how to increase the speed."
"Okay, let me have a look," Barry said before Wally shifted the screen towards Barry. Barry read it, and I could see that he was in really deep thought.
"It's interesting. And very well written," Barry responded.
"Just like you're 7th grade science fair project!" Joe said. At that moment, Barry facepalmed. After that comment, Wally grabbed his coat and stood up from the couch.
"I just remembered.....I have a thing I have to go to....." Wally said reaching for the door handle. He was interrupted by the roof being torn off the house, and a massive shark creature towering over us. Wally darted behind Joe, who had his gun and was firing at the shark. The bullets had no effect on the creature, and the shark began talking:
"Where are you Flashes?" He asked. At that time, Joe, Iris, Wally, Barry, and I ran outside. Joe took them to CCPD, and we suited up after running home. We told them we were going home so they weren't suspicious.
"Here we are," we teased before we ran off. We sped all around the city, trying all our tricks to tire him out, but nothing was working. We lost him, and ran into S.T.A.R. Labs to come up with a plan. Lyla and Diggle  were there chatting with Cisco, and to our surprise: Caitlin.
"One of our inmates at Argus escaped."
"Does it happen to be a lifesized, bloodthirsty shark? Because we kinda had a run in with one."
     "Thats him...that's...."
     "King Shark!" Cisco exclaimed.
"We actually came here originally for you to help us stop him, but I see you've already been introduced."
"The only thing now is that we have to find a way to stop him."
"Hold up!" Cisco said before darting out of the cortex. He came back in with a box of papers.
"Okay let's see.....sharknado......zombie apocalypse.....alien invasion.....ah yes! Giant man eating death shark."
"You have a packet with a well developed plan on how to stop a man eating shark?"
"I have a lot of free time. At least I don't carry around a blood collection kit."
"You have your hobbies and I have-"
"Guys!" I yelled. "Read the plan Cisco," I said before Cisco read the plan to everyone. After he read it, we discussed how the plan was going to be executed, and we set out to compete it.
A few hours into waiting, Barry, Lyla, Diggle, Caitlin, Cisco, and I were waiting on the dock for King Shark to arrive. We had set up a buoy that was charged with energy into the water, and that was supposed to get him to come. I was about ready to give up.
"C'mon! It's been 3 hours! He's not coming!" I said to Caitlin. She immediately shushed me and pointed the screen to my face. The tracker that had been placed on him was moving towards us at an alarming rate. We all got into position for his arrival. A few seconds after the tracker signal was laying on top of the buoy, he sprung out of the water in the direction of the docks. Barry and I sped around teasing and taunting him, to try to drain his energy, but nothing was working. We had to take drastic measures, and began running on the water. Since he had been well adapted, he had no problem keeping up with us. Our problem was trying to stay away from him. We kept that up until Cisco gave us a better idea through the earpiece. We took his advice and began the process. Barry and I centered him in the water, and ran around him. Us running at our speeds combined, mixed with throwing a few lightning bolts, caused him to lay defenseless on the waters surface when we were done.  Lyla and Diggle took over with transporting him back to argus.
"Thank you!" They told us when we got back to the dock.
      "No problem. It was-"
"GUYS THAT WAS AWESOME!" Cisco yelled to us. Lyla and Diggle thanked us one more time before we left and we headed back to S.T.A.R. Labs to converse about the victory.
