It was me and my friends night out. Iris and I went to the local bar and had a lot of fun. They started karaoke when we got there and Iris was pushing me to go up. I went, and chose a song that had a male and female part. But since I didn't have a male counterpart, I just went along with it. I sang:
🎶🎵 "I found myself dreaming
In silver and gold
Like a scene from a movie

Split second and you disappeared and then I was all alone

I woke up in tears

I joined him for the chorus. I looked at him and he smiled. I grabbed the Mic and danced with him:

He took my hand and we bowed. He then walked me back to my table, where Iris had her head down. I put my hand on her shoulder and woke her up:
"Another round!" Iris said slurring. Her finger had been bent in the air and I yelled to the bartender:
"Water please," before Barry came over with a glass.
"I thought she could use this, she looks pretty wiped out. I can help. I'll carry her out to your car."
"You'll do that? Thanks!" I said before holding out my hand.
"Chloe."
"Barry.......you're am amazing singer, why haven't I seem you around here before?"
"I don't usually go out a lot. Or sing in public."
"Well you should come more often. I'd love to sing with your pretty face again." I blushed.
"Thanks. You're very good looking yourself," I said before we brought Iris out to the car.
"Here......If you ever need a singing partner again," Barry said giving me a folded napkin with his number on it.
"Thanks. Just in case you need someone to compliment again," I said before giving him my number. Before he left, I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he blushed. I then got into my car and drove off with a drunk Iris in the backseat.
