I updated the cover and decided to do a short just because. Enjoy!
-------------------------------------
I woke up before Barry did and decided to make him breakfast. I turned on my phone and let Spotify shuffle while I got the ingredients. When I got them all together, I began mixing and pouring. In the middle of the cooking and flipping, I felt two arms wrap around my waist. Barry rested his chin on my shoulder.
"Morning Bar."
"Good morning Chloe. How did you know I was in the mood for pancakes this morning?"
"Lucky guess," I said, knowing that Barry was always up for pancakes. After making one batch, I decided to make another Barry tried helping, but he just made a mess.
"Barry, you're spilling the flour! Now i'm covered."
"Let me join you," he said dumping the flour over his head. I hesitated for a second before making a remark.
"Do you want eggs with that?" I asked, cracking one over his head.
"Its on Flashette!"
"Its on Flash!"I declared as the war began. We fought each other, throwing more and more ingredients. The kitchen was trashed and we were covered in pancake ingredients. I tackled Barry, but Barry finished it off:
"And to top it off, some whipped cream." Barry took the can and made swirls on top of my head. After a few seconds, I scraped the whipped cream off of my head and smashed it in his face.
"You're lucky I like whipped cream," he said with a mouthful. "It tastes so sweet and delicious.........but not as much as you."
Ignoring his attempt to flatter me, I got up and went over to the counter. Despite the mess and how dirty everything was, the only thing I said was:
"Barry, you burned the pancakes."
