Part 4 of the mini series. Enjoy! THANK YOU FOR 21K ON BOOK ONE!!!!
----------------------
He put his hands behind his neck nervously, a trait he inherited from Barry and his face turned pale. I walked up to him:
"It's okay, you don't have to be scared. It's alright," I said. By his nervousness, I could tell he was a speedster and I sped over to my suit. I stood in front of him suited up and Barry eventually followed.
"We're speedsters too," I said pulling him into a hug.
"Ferris Air, Let's go!" Cisco yelled before grabbing the keys to the S.T.A.R. Labs van.
When we got there, they set up the same tech and Ezra had to wear a similar outfit then what we wore when we first tested our powers. Instead of running though, we were spectating our speedster son.
"Ready?" We asked him. He replied with a thumbs up and on Cisco's count he was off.
"He's already at 770mph. He's faster than you two were when you first started," Cisco commented. Ezra stopped perfectly at the end of the track and ran back.
"And more coordinated. How did you learn to control your powers? When your parents came to us they were clueless."
"I was in foster homes and I was given up because water would float uncontrollably or because my hand would vibrate accidentally. I was so desperate for a family and a normal life that I controlled my powers so I could try to have that. When actually my powers were what lead me to them," he said. He took off his helmet and I ruffled his jet black hair.
"C'mon Ezra, there's a few more people I'd like you to meet," I said speeding away and he followed. I lead him to CCPD where Joe was. I greeted Joe and sent him upstairs where Barry and Ezra were.
"Joe.....this is Ezra......your grandson." No words came out of his mouth. He stood motionless before running up to him and hugging him. I knew that Joe had so many questions, but was distracted by the fact that his grandson was indeed alive. Joe broke the hug and began to ask:
"So....He's a...."
"Yes....I'm sure you'll see him speeding around soon enough....." I said before Joe headed downstairs to his work. He called Iris and she came to the lab shortly after he left.
"Ezra...this is your aunt...Iris West...." Iris teared up when she heard Aunt and hugged him. She smiled and I could tell she had questions as well but we decided to save them all for later.
After working on cases for a while with the help of our son, we finished and headed back over to S.T.A.R. Labs.
"What do you need Cisco? Is something wrong?" I asked speeding into the cortex.
"No, everything's alright. I had something I wanted to show you," he said walking over to our suit closet. He pushed the button to reveal a silver suit. "Since you are indeed a speedster, I made you a suit so you can go out and fight with your family."
"This is sweet!" He exclaimed running up to the suit. "Tri Polymer, special material to reduce friction.....Wow Cisco, you are truly good at your job. You take every precauti-"
"I know," Cisco said proudly. I really didn't want him going out, but he seemed to have better control, so I decided to give him a chance. A little help won't hurt and it is better to have more hands out in the field.
"And now for your name......."
"We already have a Flash and Flashette. Since you're the son, go for something like that. Like......Kid Flash."
"Kid Flash......I like it....."

And that concludes the end of this mini series, unless you want it to continue. Comment below what you think. I was also wondering if you want me to do any more shorts with Ezra included because those seem to be the more popular ones. Let me know what you think and I hope you enjoyed. -Flashette1
*I do not own DC Elements/Characters such as the name: "Kid Flash." And I know that he isn't the actual Kid Flash from the comics, but this is just a short*
*I will also take requests if you want a certain short made about the characters or featuring a certain fandom or something....*
