Days have passed since Phil had been on the streets. He took a train to Wilbert's house and he's been living with him for the past few weeks.
"I'm glad you came to your senses, Phil." Wilbert says, patting him on the shoulder.
"You may not know it but you really opened my eyes." Phil smiles.
Wilbert chuckles, nodding in response.
"You wanna go do some stuff later? I am craving pizza." Wilbert asks.
Phil thinks, almost telling him he'd have to check with Dan but stopped himself before he let anything slip out.
"Yes, I would love to!" Phil says, smiling.
He feels alive for once. He can do things without having to worry about Dan.
He has taken control. He is alive once again.

It was late. Phil and Wilbert had just gotten home from a day of shopping and eating lots of food.
Phil felt really good; better than he has in years. Nothing is weighing him down anymore, he can take a deep breathe and feel good. He doesn't worry about assisting Dan's needs every second or afraid he will leave him.
Phil knows Dan has issues. He has done what he can do and he is content with that.
-
Dan knows Phil did what was best for himself. Dan knows it was best for him as well.
Dan moved to Michigan with friends and cut all ties that kept him tangled onto Phil.
He thinks about him a lot. He knows he's happy, and he's content with that.
that is the end my friends. i hope you liked this book, i know it was shitty and like every single phanfic in the world. ever. i want you to know i most likely will not be posting dan and phil related things unless i'm updating/finishing an old story or posting an old fic that isn't finished. i have grown out of them. i'm 15 now and i like new things. i do want to thank everyone for supporting this story and thank you so much for all the kind words. that means a lot. i need to end this story because its been too long. if you'd like, you can read some of my other stories! bye, thank you for your support once again! farewell.
