Sophie looked at me, worried, but I nodded, slightly.

''Right, you can have all the minutes you wish'' Sophie said, quietly, but loud enough so I could hear her.

I was stunned at this sudden interruption.

And I couldn't believe what Sophie just said and glared at her, but Sophie ignored me.

''Let's go, Josh'' Sophie called her cousin, who was still eating his cereal.

''Wait! Why?'' Joshua protested and Sophie glared at him.

''It's ok, Sophie, I'll go'' I said, placing a hand over Joshua's shoulder, who was getting up, reluctantly.

I got up, not sure of where to go, so I walked out of the tent and went to the nearest tree, away from curious eyes.

Immediately, I regretted, seeing that this was way more suspicious, but it was too late and I didn't want to go back inside.

I stopped and leaned against the tree, looking away, to the kids playing around, people working and Sophie popping out her head out of the tent, searching for something... or someone.

''It's something wrong?'' Tom asked, cautiously.

I didn't want to look up and see his face.

I knew this would distract me from whatever I was thinking.

''Everything's wrong, but we choose to see only the right ones'' I answered.

''There's nothing wrong with choosing to see the good things, instead of the bad ones'' Tom retorted.

''So we just decide to ignore if something's wrong, just because we're afraid, or too selfish to care about? You can't hide forever, you know?'' I asked, rhetorically, staring at him.

''No, we just... please just tell me what's wrong'' Tom insisted.

''I'm just questioning my existence, my reality... the situation itself, is overwhelming me, wondering if I should keep going, if I should fight against it, or just run with it, you don't have to worry about it'' I said, closing my eyes and leaning my head on the tree.

''I think you shouldn't fight against it, I think you should... fight for it?'' Tom spoke and I kept my eyes closed.

''You don't even know what I'm talking about'' I shook my head, chuckling.

''Maybe I do... but it doesn't matter, you should never give up a fight'' Tom said.

''Why we're back with the last name thing?'' I asked, ignoring Tom's words.

''Well, I thought you wouldn't like me to call you Sky, in front of your... uh, friends?'' Tom said, touching his nose, nervously.

''Only for your sake'' I retorted, immediately.

''And what's that supposed to mean?'' Tom asked, surprised.

''You know, people finding out we are... close, it wouldn't be good for your... career'' I said, looking away.

''I couldn't care less about..." he said, louder than expected and then stopped. ''...What people find out! I've told you'' Tom said again, lowering his voice, immediately.

''Then why we're hiding?'' I questioned.

''I'm not hiding, Sky, I'm... protecting you'' Tom said, exasperatedly.

''From what... for what?'' I insisted.

''From... from me, from my life, my job, from everything that could hurt you! I know how it is, I don't want to introduce you to this madness'' Tom answered, pulling his golden hair out.
