"He's a little shy at first" Charlie joked. "Skylar, this is my friend, Tom"

When my friends heard his name, everyone looked up from whatever they were doing to stare at us.

Now they are interested...

I don't know if he didn't mention that we know each other on purpose.

What am i supposed to do?
Pretend that i just met him for the first time?
That we don't have a history together?
Act like if my feelings for him almost consumed me?
Is he expecting for me to mention that we know each other?
Why do i have to do this?

I reached his hand to greet him but to my surprise, he ignored my stretched arm and went to hug me instead.

A chuckle escaped my lips unconsciously when he embraced me with his long arms.

"Hello, love" he said next to my ear and a warm and quite familiar feeling invaded my whole body.

Oh shit, here we go again.

"Hi, Tom" i managed to say faintly.

I sound so stupid.

"You know each other already?" Charlie asked, surprised next to us. I already forgot he was there.

I still didn't know how to explain what we were, what we are to other people.

But what Tom said next made me choke, i wanted to dig a hole and bury myself there.

"We were lovers, Sky and I, we used to date" Tom said so naturally.

We used to date? Did we?

My eyes widened so hard and my jaw dropped so big that i might have looked like i just got possessed.

I heard a gasp behind me and i'm pretty sure it was Evy... or Luke.

"How about that?" Charlie smiled suspiciously.

I glanced at Tom and around me to see if someone else heard him but seemed like everyone went back to what they were doing once they saw me hugging him.

At least that's what they wanted me to believe.

"Why, were you trying to make a move?" Tom asked amused.

"I won't deny that i tried... but also have to admit that i failed big time" Charlie laughed. "Now i see why" he teased.

All i could do was blush like a new born baby.

"Well, i think i should go now, i expect you both to attend my birthday party tomorrow night?" He asked, getting up from his seat.

Our table has two areas, against the wall, in a corner, there was a large couch where everyone could fit in and in the front area there was a tall table with stools where 5 people could sit, i was on the table now, alone with Tom and Charlie.

"Thank you, for coming to the show" i said kindly.

"It was my pleasure, tell Harry i'm sorry for leaving" Charlie said, winking. "See you later" he patted Tom's back a few times before he left.
