He dreamt, that's all he could have.
Dreams to put his sanity in doubt.
Was he going insane?
The sky is blue, like her eyes, like her name.
The beauty that can make you stare at it for hours, like her smiles, her laughs.
The mystery that comes along with it, you know there's something else but can't always see it, like her thoughts, her feelings.
The immensity of it was overwhelming, no matter how far you go, there's always more, and you will always want more, like her soul.
And then he wakes up, alone in the dark, but not alone as if he was the only one, but surrounded by strangers that couldn't see through him like he knew she could.
Was he making a terrible mistake?
Could this be the end of what he once thought it could be something else?
His doubts were about to get clear...
...
"Sister... is there anything I can do to make you stay till Sunday? You could fly to New York from here! No need to make exhausting flights to Los Angeles and then back to New York... when will we have time to see each other again?" Zack insisted the whole morning as we ate breakfast.
He was trying to find a gap in my decision and he couldn't find it, he was going to make one.
"Zach..." I warned him.
"C'mon Monkey... you're making me beg for your company! That's quite the opposite of what a brother should do!" He insisted and although I didn't show, I was actually starting to consider his idea.
"I'm heading to the mall with Sophie; if you want to join us... you could be useful, holding our shopping bags" I joked and went to my room to get ready.
"You're even meaner than when we were younger, you know that?" Zach yelled as he walked to his room as well.
He wouldn't miss a chance to see Sophie in the bright light of the day.
Even though if the bright light of day meant the greyish and rainy day of London.
Rubbish.
As always, I decided to wear all black, not because I wanted to show any kind of mood, I just loved that colour.
"I'm leaving!" I shouted from the front door to my Brother, wondering if he was going with me.
I wanted to give a chance to the city, once more; if this day went normally, 'enjoyable', I would stay until Sunday morning and fly to New York from here.
Yes, I would get there extremely tired and exhausted.
"Wait up!" Zach yelled and ran downstairs.
I chuckled and walked out the door, with my brother following my track.
While Zach drove around the city, Skylar finally decided to check her messages and calls.
Of course there were more than an hundred messages, most of them from Evy and Liam.
A few from Michael and the boys and one from an unknown number.
I frowned and decided to open the unknown message first.
I knew it couldn't be from Tom, because I barely remembered the last three digits of his phone number, but it could be him from another mobile?
-Hey Skylar, I need to see you when you come back, there's someone who'd like to talk to you ;)
