"Hi Reece!" you smile at your friend, who is currently busy scrolling through his instagram feed.
"Hey y/n." Reece says, not looking up from his phone.
"I erm, I have something I want to tell you." you say. You need to get it over with now, or he'll never find out.
"Hmm?" He hums, still not looking in your direction.
"I-I, I like-" you start. No, you can't tell my friend that you like him. That's just not right.
"-pancakes. I like pancakes." you frown. Why didn't you just tell him?
"You're funny!" Reece finally turns around, laughing a little from what you just said.
He looks into your eyes and you feel your cheeks flushing.
"Y/n? Are you okay? You've gone red." Reece points out.
"Yeah I'm fine." you smile.
"Good." he grins, turning his attention back to his phone.
"I'm just going to the bathroom." you excuse yourself, Reece just humming in response.
As you close his bedroom door behind you, you breathe a sigh of relief.
"God I love you." you whisper.
