April 1973
Amanda's POV
Sunday, April 15, 1973.
I was with Cynthia, Veronica, Mary, Clare, Tim and Les in Freddie and Mary's apartment in London's Kensington neighborhood. It's around ten in the morning, and Cyntia is taking pictures of the boys, with lots of trinkets that Mary brought from the Biba clothing stores. Mary is the store's public relations officer and brought many things that could be used to carry out the photos.
"Roger, be more serious, please," Cyntia said, taking pictures of them.
I was enjoying watching the band's photo shoot. Cíntia began the photo shoot, around nine in the morning. It's amazing how clare is different from Roger. She is beautiful, nice, friendly. Clare has ca beautiful black and blue eyes. According to Clare, she tugged at her mother's dark hair, and Roger pulled her father because of the blond hair.
"And your parents, how are you in Brazil, Mandy?" Clare asked.
Everyone thinks my parents are in Brazil, in fact only my mother is. I told everyone that my mother is a nurse and my father is a journalist in Brazil. They can not know that my father is Alex Bristley, one of the directors of EMI Music.
"My parents are very well," he said with a smile. "I miss them very much. And your parents how are they?
At that moment Clare looked at me and a look of sadness took over her beautiful eyes.
"I'll tell you about my parents one day. Mom is very well, next to my stepfather, as for my father, I do not want to talk about him - said Clare.
"Sorry, I did not know," she said sheepishly.
"It's all right, Mandy," she said softly to me. "Then I'll tell you all about what happened in the past.
I think something very serious happened, because Clare, who was smiling a little, now became pensive.
"Clare, my angel, please smile," I told her.
She smiled at me and hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek.
"I love you, Mandy, it's like you're my sister." She smiled at me.
"I say the same about you." I'm the only daughter. You're like a sister to me. "I smiled at her.
Clare and I hugged each other and Roger looked at us and grimaced in our direction and I showed the middle finger to him. Clare just smiled at her brother and me.
"My brother and you look like two drunken children, it's incredible. - Clare smiled.
Around noon, the photo shoot continued, but I told Mary that I would go to the kitchen to make lunch for everyone. And I decided to make pasta with basil and almond sauce. While preparing for everything, I thought about my father. I miss him. There is already a time that we do not see, because of his work at EMI Studios and I because of college, courses, other things.
Put the noodles on the fire and let it cook al dente, meanwhile, mix together basil, almonds, parmesan, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and beat everything in the blender. Brought all the ingredients home. After a time hitting the blender, I add more olive oil and pick up a wooden spoon in the kitchen drawer to try the sauce. I pick up a little and put it in the wooden spoon and play a little in my hand.
"It tastes good, it just needs to get more consistent," I said to myself, deep in thought.
- Speaking alone, fire hair? - Said smiling sarcastic Roger, entering the kitchen and I was scared.
"You want to kill me in fright, blond sour?" She said irritably looking at him.
"The smell of the sauce is good." He smiled at me insolently. "I just hope I did not throw poison there to kill me."
