Ressler.
Samar had had a rough day today. Finding out that her brother was the terrorist Mossad had been looking for was a hard blow on her. The fact that she'd given him up to Reddington was another one.
Although I didn't approve, Reddington had given her this case for a reason, meaning that he had a plan for Hassan.
While Samar was sitting in her office, a little spaced out, I realized I didn't wanted to leave her like that, alone.
I walked in, she made it seem like everything was fine, but it actually wasn't. She almost gave in to cry, but stopped herself. It reminded me a lot to when Audrey died, how I'd made it seem like nothing was wrong, but inside I was just burning to the ground.
"Come on" I said grabbing my coat from my seat and shrugged it on "I'm not leaving you to be alone tonight. I'll take you to someone who'll make you feel better"
Of course, I took her to Mags. I assumed Samar didn't know that I'd been living with Mags, so I guess it was a little strange for her when I parked in the garage of a nice suburban home instead of my apartment complex.
"You moved?" She asked while we exited the car, I gave her a little smile and motioned at her to walk to the side door and into the house.
"Yeah, it's closer to work, and I like the company"
We walked in to the kitchen, Samar took a seat in the stool in the kitchen counter slash breakfast island. I fished something for us to drink, eyeing the produce that was laid out in a tray inside the fridge. Maggie was simmering some meat.
I handed Samar a beer and fished one for myself, when I closed the door of the fridge I saw Maggie cut the corner and smile up at me, leaning her head up to kiss my lips, holding me by the waist. I placed my hand on the back of her neck and pulled her close
"Called my sister, she says she can make it tomorrow after lunch" she said over my lips "what's that?" She poked at the side of my cheek with a little conspicuous smirk "huh? And that?" She poked again at my temple.
"Got in a fight with Tom Keen" she placed a hand on her hip and looked up at me scoldingly.
"Did you at least won?"
"Had I not been stopped, I probably would have." She rolled her eyes a little and looked over my shoulder at Samar.
"Sammy" she saluted, looking up at me "why didn't you told me Samar was here?" She scolded me again, walking past me to her "I'm sorry, I was all over Donald while you just awkwardly sat there" she apologized.
"It's okay." She dismissed.
"Samar had a shit day, brought her for her to not be alone"
"Ow" she lamented, sitting next to Samar "what happened?" She placed her hand on top of her arm and rubbed it.
"I found out today that my brother who I thought was dead is a terrorist, or... Was a terrorist, I'm not sure"
Maggie just pressed her lips together and gave me a little look.
"I don't even know how to respond to that. I'm sorry"
