Jack

I smiled widely when I heard a harsh knock at the front door.

That would be Matt... he'd flown over from Ireland to stay with us for a few weeks. I hadn't seen him for about seven months, and we both excited to say the least.

"Hey buddy!" Matt called as I wrenched the door open.

I pulled him in for a brief hug, patted his shoulder, and led him inside. I helped him carry his bags inside, and called for one of my boyfriends.

"Mike! Matt's here!" I yelled up the stairs.

"Alright, I'll be down in a sec!" Was his response.

"I see some things never change, eh?" Matt laughed, obviously commenting on my interaction with the boys; shouting, and lots of it.

"Clearly." I easily laughed.

I couldn't believe Matt was here.

Seconds later Mikey came down the stairs, followed quickly by Brook, and together the four of us carried all of Matt's things upstairs into my room - where we had set up a blow-up mattress - and after brief introductions.

We went back downstairs after a quick tour of the upstairs... luckily Rye and Andy were not in a compromising position when we walked into Andy's room; I blew out a breath of relief when I saw Rye sat on Andy's bed reading a book, with Andy at his desk.

Mikey and Rye made us all a cup of tea, and once handed out we spent a good twenty minutes having a chat in the kitchen.

I smiled to myself. I was so glad that Matt got on so well with everyone... only he didn't know one specific detail; that the five of us were dating.

I gave each of my boyfriends a subtle look with my eyes, and I watched in satisfaction as each of them got the message in turn.

"We'll leave you guys too it." Andy said with a smile, and the four of them left.

I missed the affection from them already, but I didn't want to risk Matt finding out in the wrong way. I wanted to tell him myself, when I felt ready.

But that group conversation has restored my faith that maybe Matt wouldn't turn me away. He seemed to like them all already, which was an added bonus.

I knew Andy could be a bit blunt sometimes. Rye a bit intimidating. Brooklyn a bit dippy and crazy, and Mikey a bit eccentric, but probably the most approachable.

Myself and Matt got lost in conversation for at least an hour, just catching up on all the things we had been unable to do over the phone or over text; it just wasn't the same as talking in person, I found.

"Also, I have a girlfriend now." Matt said rather proudly, and I couldn't help but laugh at his expression.

"So I hear... how is she?" I asked, standing up to throw the dirty mugs in the sink.

"Really good actually. She's met the family, and everyone gets along, which is good." He smiled.

I was happy for him. He was naturally a lonely person sometimes, despite being mental.

"So, what about you Jack? Got a girlfriend yet?" Matt asked.

I sighed heavily, realising that we'd have to go through it again.

"Matt, c'mon... you know I don't swing that way." I said exasperatedly.

I felt my cheeks redden.
