Shawn's POV
Y/n's mom has green tea and some sweets out. Me and y/n sit down together on one side of the table and her parents chairs are across from us.
Mr and mrs y/l/n comes in the room. Y/n and I stand up and she hugs her dad, and I shake his hand. We sit back down, and I hold y/n's hand under the table because I'm so nervous. "So Shawn, what do you do in-terms of work?" Her dad asks. "I'm a singer. I make music and I released and go on tour" I say. My hands are starting to get clammy. "Hm ok. What are your intentions with my daughter" he asks taking a sip of tea. "Um I would like to treat her right, and one day hopefully marry her" I say. I'm so nervous. We talk for a little more time and then we have to leave. "I like you son, but if you hurt y/n your dead" y/n's dad says slightly serious slightly joking "yes sir hehe" I say. "Bye mrs y/l/n bye mr y/l/n I say as y/n and I are walking out of the house. We get in the car and drive back to my apartment.
"That was so stressful oh my god" I say falling on to the couch. "You did so good, I can tell they like you" y/n says. "I hope so" I say sighing. ~a few months later~
I think y/n's family likes me. They invited my family over for dinner and it went perfectly. We just went public with our relationship, and some of the fans don't like y/n, but most of them are happy for us.
