The voice was so loud and angry, we both jumped like scared children who got caught doing something wrong. Colby just so happened to jump a little to much and fell off the bed. "Damn it, Serena!" He sat up rubbing his elbow. "What the hell?!" She was standing in the doorway to our room, fuming, towel drying parts of her hair. "Do you know what I'm doing right now Colby? I'm trying to get all of this f*cking peanut butter out of my hair? Now, why is there peanut butter in my hair COLBY?!" I started laughing again. I couldn't help it. She looked at me, still glaring. "You shut the f*ck up! I blame you too!" "What? Why me? I didn't do anything!" I cried, in between laughs. "You got to be safe in your bed away from the danger. He's your man. It's your fault too!" I seriously couldn't stop laughing. I glanced at Colby sitting on the floor. He was looking back at me, holding in laughter. I shook my head, eyes wide. She might actually kill him, if he laughed at her right now. I got a pass because we were best friends but Colby was the one who committed the crime. He was in danger. "Don't you dare start laughing Colby! I swear I will murder you!" He couldn't hold it back any longer and the laugh burst out of him. "You son of a b*tch!" She started towards him, and he jumped up and over the bed, crossing to the other side of the room. "Chill S. I didn't even do it. Sam did it. We didn't target you and the girls tho. We just got the guys." She shook her head. "It doesn't matter. I have PEANUT BUTTER IN MY HAIR COLBY! I'll kill you first, then Sam. She started towards him again and he darted past her, running out the door. "You can run but you can't hide!" She yelled, running after him. I shook my head and got out of the bed, realizing that I forgot to make my coffee anyways. I heard all of the commotion, the others waking up yelling things, Colby and S running through the apartment. Then Colby yelling, "AH SH*T!" "That's what you get, you jackass!" Serena yelled back. I hurried into the living room to see what happened. They were standing in the kitchen area, and Colby was soaking wet, dripping water on the the tile floor. He met my gaze, his blue hair dark now, and dripping into his face. "It had ICE in it Y/N! She iced me!" I looked over to S and she was smiling vindictively, looking at me. I started laughing again. Hey, it was funny as long as I wasn't involved. "Really? This is funny?" Colby asked, his voice going higher. I nodded, and backed up a little. He reached down and grabbed a couple of ice cubes off the floor. "Okay, we'll see how funny it is then." He started after me and I took off, running up the stairs. I don't know why I did that, but really, where am I going to run? Colby was right behind me, water dripping down his wrists from the ice he held in his hands. "You might as well just take it. You have nowhere else to run babe." His eyes were glinting mischievously and there was a small smirk playing on his lips. I shook my head, biting my lip. "Nope, I'm not going down without a fight Brock." I replied. He was keeping the stairs covered so I back up to the far corner, hoping he would come closer. He did, his eyes glued to mine. I darted sideways, trying to go around him, but his hand shot out and grabbed my arm. He snatched me to him and then circled his arm around my waist. I struggled hard, but it didn't help. He dropped the ice down the back of shorts, and I screamed. "Oh my God, that's COLD!" He started laughing and let me go. I did a little dance, shimmying, trying to make the ice fall. It didn't. I reached my hand down the back of my shorts and grabbed out what hadn't melted. Throwing it at him, I took off running down the stairs. Before I reached the bottom, I heard Sam yelling and gasping, while Katrina screamed. S came running out of the guest room, into the living room, sliding to a halt. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs and Colby collided into me, knocking us both to the ground. I hit hard, with him knocking the breath out of me, landing on top of me. "Oh my God, Y/N!" "Are you okay?" "Oh sh*t!" Colby rolled off of me quickly and I heard footsteps gathering around us. "Baby, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I felt his hand on my arm and I turned my head to look up at him. "I'm good." I gasped out. "Just kn-knocked the wind out of me." He helped me sit up, then pulled me up, holding me around my waist. "Are you sure? I was going too fast and I didn't realize that you had stopped." My breathing was almost normal now. I reached my hand up, tracing his face from his temple to his chin. "I'm good babe." I leaned in and kissed him softly. "Promise." I said, leaning back. Sam came barreling into the room at that time. "Serena! What the f*ck was that for?" He was also dripping wet, his clothes drenched and stuck to him. Colby and I started laughing. "That was for the peanut butter that is stuck in my hair Sam." She replied calmly. The anger faded from his face. "Oh...that wasn't meant for you. Sorry." He said, looking a little sheepish. "Uh huh." She replied, looking smug. Everyone else had woken up during all of the commotion but you could tell that they had no clue what was happening. Brennen went to scrub his face with his hands but stopped as soon as he touched the peanut butter. "What is this? What the hell did you do Colby?" "Why does everyone think it's me? I didn't do that!" Colby replied. "It was your idea though, bro." Sam said. "Shut up Sam. You're the one who smeared it on his face."
