I grabbed my phone and exited the room, snuggling up on the couch, with my mom who was already awake. We chatted for a while, mainly about the pregnancy and the honeymoon, me gushing to her about how amazing it was. Colby eventually woke up a couple of hours later, and walked into the living room, wearing nothing but joggers, dragging his hand through his already messy hair. He yawned, looking at us. "What time is it?" Not gonna lie, I spaced out for a minute, as usual, admiring what I could forever call mine. How in the hell did he still look perfect right when he rolled out of bed? I heard my mom giggle at me, and I snapped back to reality. "Um, around noon, I think." I answered him. He nodded, yawning again. "Okay, I told the guys to give us a day to catch up on some rest, then we'll spend some time with everyone tomorrow. That okay?" His gaze met mine, his lips curving up into a beautiful smile. I nodded. "Yeah, that sounds perfect. I don't wanna go anywhere today honestly." He shrugged. "Then we won't." He plopped down on the couch next to me, and wrapped his around my shoulders. My mom watched us with a goofy grin on her face. The rest of the day was so nice; peaceful and relaxing. No one came to visit, and the three of us ordered in Chinese, because I was craving it. Yeah, being pregnant had it's perks. Colby didn't argue with me anymore about where to eat and I was loving it. Once we rested up, I spent as much time as I could with Kristie and Chris during the day, taking my mom with us sometimes. We hung out at the beach, browsed the multiple stores, and I even went to the club with them a couple of times to show them what a real one looked like compared to The Ozone. "Okay, that's it. I'm moving to LA." Kristie exclaimed while dancing with Mike, next to me and Colby. Being pregnant wasn't going to stop me from having fun. I laughed at her, as Colby spun me around. "You totally should!" By the time the week was up, I was ready to cry again. We made sure that Kristie and Chris were flying back home with my Mom so that she wasn't alone. At the airport, tears were streaming down my face as I hugged them goodbye. Chris tightened his arms around me, and laughed a little. "Thank you for an amazing time. I'm so happy for you. You're going to have an amazing life and that baby is going to have an amazing family." I sobbed, clinging to him tighter for a moment, before letting him go. Kristie grabbed me in a tight hug, her own tears falling freely down her face. "I'm going to miss you so much! I wasn't kidding though. I'm moving here. I have to talk with my job and  see if I can get a transfer but...I'll be here before you know it." She glanced over to Mike who was also here seeing her off. "Besides," She continued in a lower voice, "I'm thinking that I need to see where things go with that hottie." I giggled and squeezed her tightly before pulling away. "Do that. I need you here. You have to be Aunt Kristie to little Noah." "Bet." She said before hugging Colby, and then moving on to Mike. My mom stepped up to Colby and hugged him. His arms wrapped around her, and he closed his eyes, resting his head against hers. "I'm going to miss you Ma." He said softly, and my heart melted again. Mom was crying, her tears rolling down her face silently. "I'm going to miss you too Son." She pulled away, and looked at me, then back to him. "You take care of my baby...and my grandbaby." She said sternly. He smiled, and nodded, wiping the stray tear from his face. "Yes ma'am." She moved to me, and I wrapped my arms around her, burying my face into her hair. "Do you have to go Momma?" I asked, my voice thick with tears. She laughed a little sadly, against my neck. "I do baby. You know I do. I'm always going to be a small town girl. I had fun here but it's too much for me." I sniffed. "I know...but I'm going to miss you so much." She tightened her hold on me then released, pulling away. "I'm going to miss you too baby. So so much. I'll be back when it's closer to your due date. Even if I have to ride on a plane alone. I promise." I gave her a watery smile. Colby took my hand in his, and I was thankful for his support. "Okay, deal. I love you Momma." She kissed my cheek. "I love you too baby. I'll see you soon and I'll call you when I get home." I nodded, and waved as they all walked away to board their plane. I turned towards Colby and he wrapped me in his strong arms as I broke down. "Sshhh, it's okay. They'll be back soon," He tried to comfort me. I nodded against his now wet shirt. "I know. I just got so used to them being here, and I've been with Mom now for so long...I'm going to miss them all so much but especially her." He stroked my hair as he held me close. "Me too baby. Me too. Come on, let's go home." We went back home, and the apartment just felt empty without my mom. I stood at the door to her room, looking in. Colby came up behind me and put his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder. "You okay?" I nodded, and wiped my tears. "I will be." I turned in his arms and smiled. "I wanna ask you a question." He smiled, a little wickedly. "Anything." I smacked his chest. "Not that kind of question, perv." I laughed with him and he shrugged. "Can't blame a guy for trying." I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Seriously though. What do you think about asking Sam and Kat to be God Parents to Noah?" His eyes went wide in shock. "Actually? What about Serena?" I shook my head. "Nah, she doesn't want kids. Ever. It should be Sam and Kat, if you agree." He smiled that damn smile and nodded. "Absolutely."
