So won had no intention to be there.She was still thinking of an escape plan if it's not too late.She had been dragged into this mess.How foolish was she to not check what date it was? Atleast Jimin should have told her.But no,here she is in the Bnet auditorium,back stage waiting room.So won had completely forgot about In young's debut and also that whole of Namjoon's team was invited.For some unknown reason,she just didn't like that girl.But a whiny Jimin and excited Kwan Ji,who just wanted to see her Minho oppa had dragged her along.She was the only one wearing an office attire although Jaesuk kept telling her she looked beautiful as ever.If she knew better,she could tell Jaesuk was stalking her,for the dude was everywhere she goes.Throwing compliments over and over.The door opened and in walked In young,her hands hooked with Namjoon.Even So won couldn't deny she looked gorgeous.In young bowed slightly,smiling widely at them.
"Thanks a lot for coming",she spoke,her voice so silky.Everyone started complimenting her,how pretty she looked.So won's eyes momentarily latched on to Namjoon,who was on his phone typing away something.In young said her goodbyes when her turn to be on stage was called and everyone wished her best.She gave Namjoon a quick hug before she left.The team went to sit in the auditorium,where In young had reserved them seats.So won regretted as soon as she sat down.She was trapped in between Kwan Ji and Jaesuk.Both of them were very excited,much to her displeasure.Namjoon sat a row infront of them.He doesn't look way too excited about the whole business but maybe it's just So won trying to find some peace.Jaesuk kept exploding her with questions about her 'boyfriend' and half of the time she pretended to not hear.
"Excuse me,excuse me",Someone made their way through the row,to Kwan Ji.
"Hey,do you wanna switch seats?",Jungkook asked,pointing to an empty seat near Namjoon and Kwan Ji lighted up.
"Really kookie?",Kwan Ji jumped out.
"No,if you call me by that name again",He said seriously.
"Sorry,sorry",Kwan Ji said as she passed Jungkook to his seat.Jungkook sat down near So won.
"Kookie,huh?",She said, smirking.
"Not a word to anyone,okay? You looked pretty bored",He said as he leaned in comfortably.
"I didn't wanted to come.You got invited too?"
"She is my classmate,frenemy kinda person",Jungkook shrugged.So won nodded.
The show had begun and Jungkook helped her avoid Jaesuk a great deal while Namjoon was having thoughts about firing Kwan Ji cause once SHINee was on stage,Namjoon was sure his ears were bleeding.So won couldn't help laugh at him.It didn't take long for In young to be on stage.She was so lively and charming.Even Jungkook,who kept saying she wasn't that great,stopped babbling and concentrated on her perfomance.So won's gaze at times fell on Namjoon,who looked mesmerized by In young.So won sighed,why was she feeling sad!Maybe cause she's just not into these kinda events,right?
As soon as the perfomance ended,Namjoon left his seat.
"You okay,Noona?",Jungkook asked following her gaze to Namjoon.So won just nodded,trying to call out to Jimin,at the other side of Jaesuk.Jimin was drowned in a deep conversation with Taehyung.
"wanna get out of here? I am hungry",Jungkook offered and So won looked at him unsure.
"We'll be back by the time they leave",Jungkook assured her and she took her chance to get away.She held Jungkook's hand as he led her out to the hall way.She immediately felt better,leaving the crowd behind.
As they turned another corridor trying to find the exit,her eyes landed on Namjoon and In young at the other end of the hallway.In young was all cheery and laughing loudly,while Namjoon leant onto the opposite wall,smiling.So won's stubborn self didn't want to admit the fact that what she felt was jealousy.She turned around quickly before they could see her.
"Jungkook!!",In young had called out and So won instantly regretted.She bit her lips as Jungkook dragged her over to the pair.Jungkook gave her a brief hug.
"You did well,not great but okay",Jungkook said,earning himself a smack from her.
"Be nice,Jungkook",Namjoon said.
"Hi,You actually did great",So won added just for the courtesy of it.To be truthful,she had not seen the perfomance at all but Namjoon.Now she didn't wanted to be around him.Weird!!
"Oh,thankyou so much",In young said,cheerfully.In young asked them to wait so she could change and join them for dinner.
"Why does this happen to me?",So won mumbled as she pulled her phone out and texted Jimin.The four of them set off in Jungkook's car,she made sure she rode shotgun.The car ride was mostly In young,excitedly telling them about her nervousness.Jungkook would make snarky comments every now and then.So won made sure to keep to herself as the dinner proceeded.She can't honestly remember a moment,In young actually kept her mouth shut.Honestly So won is like wise too but maybe she felt this way cause it was her domain.Jungkook included her in every conversation and made her comfortable.Namjoon would only send her glances,even if he starts to ask her something,In young made sure to intrude.The night had came to an end,Namjoon and So won waited as In young's manager picked her up and Jungkook went to get the car.So won was shivering inside out as the wind brushed against her.She hugged herself,with her head hung low.
"Shouldn't you have wore a coat?",Namjoon asked noting So won's posture.She didn't say anything but kept staring at her leg,praying Jungkook got there quick.She had already mentioned she didn't expect to attend the show and couldn't dress for the occasion midst dinner.Clearly Namjoon wasn't paying attention.Her train of thoughts were pulled to stop as something heavy fell on her shoulders.She looked up to see Namjoon by her side.He had taken off his coat and put it over her.
"Namjoon,What-",So won began.
"I don't want you dying...the project will seize"
So won tilted her head in confusion,Is that all he cares about?Namjoon faced her pulling the coat from the front to cover her.So won could feel his thumb brush against her neck slightly as he did that.It was a sweet of a gesture but she shivered even more.
"That same Kdrama shit",So won thought ,sighing.
"Did you enjoy the show?",Namjoon asked her,running his hands through his hair.
"Um,I am not into her kind of music",So won found no reason to lie.
"Me too",Namjoon said as Jungkook pulled up near them.Namjoon opened the door for her,this man really could throw her off her rails.
A/N:I actually had one more scene to add,but my usual word count exceeded sooooo ...Dont worry,I'll surely add it.
