Taehyung walked in through the crowd,excusing himself,looking for a certain someone.The lakehouse,Hoseok had rented for his birthday party was already crowded.Monsta X's 'Alligator' was blasting through the speakers and disco lights were already malfunctioning. "Hey..",Taehyung said as he spotted So won and Jimin by the bar. "Thought you wouldn't come",He said scratching his head,looking at Jimin unsurely.So won could feel the tension radiating.
"You came alone?",So won asked out of curiousity since Taehyung and Namjoon were always together. "Hyung is on his way",Taehyung said,his eyes still on Jimin.So won couldn't take it anymore.
"You know what?You guys should talk properly.Am gonna let you",She said as she left them by the bar and went to look for Kwan Ji.Hoseok was playing beer ping pong with a group of loud people.He really did have a lot of friends.Kwan Ji was no where to be seen.She was pretty sure Kwan Ji would be missing the whole night when she had left earlier saying she spotted someone who looked like Minho.So won grabbed a light drink and sat by the far end of the couch where two strangers were making out.So won couldn't help but blame herself for thinking this party would be formal.She had forgot Hoseok was wild.She started digging into her chips bag,when she noted someone walk in,Namjoon.
His hair weren't the usual neatly set,it looked as if he just left the bed.His usual black glasses were absent too.He had wore a black and red striped Tee that accentuated his shoulders and shorts with a cap tucked by the waist.So won couldn't help but smile as she noticed that he actually had a gift box in his hands.Namjoon looked around to spot a familiar face and soon saw So won.So won thought for a second that he smiled,but he just crossed her and left to find Hoseok.So won shrugged getting up to get herself something to drink.Jimin and Taehyung were no more at the bar.She wasn't a big fan of alcohol,so settled herself for a coke. "Hello there",Someone said grabbing her from behind.So won was alarmed thinking it was a stranger,but it was only Jaesuk.It's not something she can't handle.
"Next time you grab me,I'll gift you a black eye",So won said,swatting his hands away.Jaesuk pulled up close to her,he was clearly drunk.So won leaned back trying to avoid his stench. "Back off Jaesuk,you are being weird",said she. "Did..Did I tell you how pretty you are ?",Jaesuk hiccoughed,inching closer to her.His hands were already riding up over her pants.So won was about to bang his head on the table,when Jaesuk stopped,shell shocked. "Let's not do something you'll regret,yeah?",Namjoon said as he twisted Jaesuk's hand behind him.Jaesuk stumbled lightly,to get away from them. "You alright?",Namjoon asked,clearly concerned.
"I could have knocked him out",So won didn't let her stubborness drown. "Sure",Namjoon was about to turn away when So won called him. "Do you wanna go out with me?",So won said as another drunk couple staggered over to the bar. "Are you asking me out on a date?",Namjoon cocked his eyebrows. "What!! No!! I mean go out as in go out of the house..it was boring here" Namjoon didn't look convinced as he smiled and led them outside.So won face-palmed,following him.Just when they were about to walk out to the back garden,So won noticed Taehyung and Jimin sitting awfully close in the other side of the room,laughing.Namjoon caught her gaze. "When did this happen?",Namjoon asked. "Well,you were late to the party",So won said as she walked past him.The atmosphere was chilly,but thankfully So won didn't forget her coat. "This is beautiful",Namjoon said as he spotted a small gate that opened to the lake behind.So won followed him.It was indeed beautiful,Tall Trees stood on the sides blocking out the faint moonlight.A cool breeze kept kissing their skin.
"Why'd you come if you don't like parties?",So won asked Namjoon,who leaned down to pick up stones. "Hoseok wanted me to come,But now that I think, Hoseok won't even remember I was here" So won smiled thinking back to her ex-boss's limit of endurance of alcohol.He is probably passed out by now.Namjoon started tossing stones into the lake,trying to skip them on the surface.So won let out a chuckle,following him to show him better. "I'll show you how it's done",So won said as she picked up a stone and positioned side-ways swinging it.The stone swiftly skipped 5 times over the lake,before sinking.Namjoon wasn't going to let go,but his wouldn't skip more than once. "How do you do it?",Namjoon asked frustratedly. "It's very easy.Look at me",So won said,repeating the steps and slowly chanting along.But Namjoon wasn't listening.He unconsciously smiled at her genuine self.
"What's so funny?" "Nothing!! Go on,teach me",Namjoon quickly said.She advanced towards him demanding an answer.Suddenly their moment was disrupted by a flash of light as a thunder boomed.Even So won flinched at the sound.Again light flashed and a loud noise followed.It had started to rain slightly. Namjoon felt his breath hitch,as he turned around to hold onto the tree nearby.It didn't go unnoticed by So won.His eyes were closed and his face contorted to pain.He kept fumbling on his Tee's hem,trying to breath normally.His hands were visibly shaking.
"Are you scared of thunder?",She asked,concern etched over her face.Namjoon didn't say anything for a while,just his breath intensified,he nodded.A third flash confirmed her doubt.So won looked at him,not knowing what to do. He was trying his best to not freak out.So won slipped her hands slowly into his shaky ones.Namjoon didn't question her,nor did he flinch.Instead he held back tighter like his life depended on it.A warmth spread through his chest and he looked at her,slowly.She placed the other hand on their intertwined hands and said,"am here,I got you"
Namjoon's mouth slightly parted but he chose to not speak.So won didn't know why she did that? Why her heart was aching for him? She didn't know why a grown man is scared of thunder,she didn't find it funny either.She just wished he was fine.She was acknowledging something she had denied and it felt good to say,weirdly.She did care for him.
A/N:So what do ya think,this damn wattpad didn't let me post how other characters look..I tried a bazillion times,hehe maybe not that much..But I did..I'll try to post them next time.
