Chapter 26

Taehyung sat on Jimin's table,shamelessly flirting with him while Jimin blushed profusely.He tried to push Taehyung off,but only half-heartedly,who lent down to kiss on top of Jimin's head.
"Get your romantic sh*t out of my territory,my single ass can't comprehend it",So won said as she swung her bag off her shoulder.
"You are back",Taehyung said,jumping off the counter.
"Yeah,sadly",she said as she disposed the mess on her table onto the bin.
"Come on,you love it here",Taehyung said tousselling her hair and left.
"You didn't tell him anything,did you?",So won leaned forward to ask Jimin and He shook his head.

So won made sure to ignore Namjoon's presence when he walked in and didn't even look up into his office.Namjoon was surprised indeed but he,very well hid it.He only wanted to see her and she is here.He tried to play it subtle,but he found himself gazing at her at times.Why the hell was she so pretty.But he did feel a bit annoyed when she didn't answer when he enquired about her health.She professionally stuck only to the project.Jimin knew this wasn't going very well after the team meet they had.He wanted to help So won,but didn't know how.So he just let it happen for now.

Noone was surprised when In young walked in at eve.She bowed at all of them as she came.So won couldn't hate her even if she wanted to.She was so nice.
"Eonniee~,You are here?Jimin oppa said you were sick",In young said as she approached So won.So won smiled awkwardly,"I am good now"
"Aw,that's a relief",the girl smiled,gosh she is too pretty.She walked off to Namjoon's office.So won couldn't help but look at how happy Namjoon seemed after seeing In young.Her face might have set to a frown because Jimin said,"Don't Wonnie"

She didn't say anything and tried to get back to work.But she just couldn't concentrate,What are they talking about? She wanted to know.After a round of impatient minutes,she grabbed a random file,Ignored Jimin's warnings and left to Namjoon's office.She didn't care to knock and swung the door open.As soon as she did,In young was startled a bit and her laughter died out almost instantly.Namjoon was startled as well but he covered it well.
"Ooh you must be busy,I'll leave oppa",In young said as she picked her bag and walked to Namjoon,giving him a quick hug.She said a pleasant goodbye to So won as well.Namjoon waited till In young left and asked,"What's the emergency?"
"Nothing",So won said as she walked out and Namjoon was left confused.

Just then the door to their sub-cabin banged open,startling everyone grabbing their attention.Taehyung sighed as everyone went back to work as they figured who it was.Jungkook flashed his bunny smile as he greeted everyone.It was one of his weekly visits.He stopped at So won's table.
"Noona,How you been ?"
"Nothing much"
"What about you,cutie?",Jungkook asked Jimin just in time for Taehyung to jump in.Taehyung said,"Lay off Kookie,he's my guy"
Jungkook looked in between them and smiled wickedly,"Not until you put a ring on that little fingers" and he walked away.

"My fingers are not little",Jimin whined.So won chose to not reply to that and called after Jungkook.
"Yeah,Noona?",He asked as he saw So won hurrying after him.
"I wanted to ask you something"
"Shoot",Jungkook said quizzically.
"Not here,Can we meet out sometime"
"Gosh!! if this is you asking for a date,I don't date older woman but in your case I'll make exceptions"
"Put a lid on it,I wanted to talk about Namjoon",So won said,aiming a slap on Jungkook's arms.
"Oh okay,I'll text you when",Said Jungkook,rubbing where So won hit.
"Don't tell him,okay?"
Jungkook saluted announcing his loyalty to her and left to Namjoon's office.

Jimin and So won left early to help Shinyu with surprise for Yoongi's birthday.All of them had collectively decided not to wish him his birthday so he will get sad and surprise him later,the cliche.But it came as a shock when Yoongi himself didn't remember his birthday and got on with the day like any other.So there was no sulking.
Shinyu was already half way through decorations when the duo got there.Jin was in the kitchen finishing the last touch ups on the cake.

"You are here early",So won exclaimed, walking into the kitchen.
"Shinyu posed death threats",Jin said uninterestedly.
"What a cousin you have",So won laughed,climbing up the counter only to be pulled by Jin.
"That cousin is gonna be your Sae Eonnie..ah ha",Jin said snapping back at her.Both of them turned around at the living room as they heard Shinyu yelling at Jimin for messing up the couch alignment to make more space.Min holly came scuttling into the kitchen,sared of Shinyu.
"I'll stick to the kitchen",So won announced almost immediately.Soon Yoongi's half a dozen of other friends showed up.Shinyu's father and Step-mother aka Jin's uncle and aunt arrived too.

When Yoongi arrived,dreaming of a 12 hour long sleep he didn't expect to see a room full of bright colors and excited people.And their shouts made it even worse.He groaned but soon sobered enough to put a smile on his face.Honestly he first thought it was an engagement party or something before Shinyu hugged him and whispered,"It's your birthday,Try smiling "
Yoongi couldn't help but feel guilty at that.

So won retired from the party with a drink in her hand to the backyard.Not that people were loud or anything.Most of Yoongi's friends were proffessional singers or composers and So won didn't understand a word to make a conversation.Shinyu and Yoongi were immersed with Kims,discussing about wedding plans.Jimin was talking over phone,probably with Taehyung.Jin was being the official server for the night.

When So won came down to sit on her back steps,Yoongi came to sit down with her.
"What are you doing here? You should be acquainting with your in-laws.
"They'll understand that my sister needs me too",Yoongi said non-chalantely.So won couldn't help but smile.

"Am tired,Oppa",So won said,not even looking to her side.

"What's it? that guy again?",Yoongi asked taking a sip off his glass.
So won turned around to face him,"I don't wanna care,but I end up caring.I don't wanna admit but I have feelings for him"
Yoongi's eyes widened and So won quickly added,"I am not in love with him,but I have this feelings when I see him.I have had that from the first time I saw him.I am hurt when he is.I just-"
"You are conflicted"
"What?"
"You don't wanna give in yet.Your brain is thinking something else"
"What do I do?"
"Let things happen,Let's see where it takes you"
So won sighed,laying her head down on Yoongi's shoulders.
"Happy birthday,Oppa",She mumbled.Yoongi didn't reply.
"Mom and Dad would be real proud of you,you know?You took care of me and made a life for us,found a wonderful woman-",So won ranted on.
"I'd rather would have liked it if they had stayed",Yoongi said as he looked up at the skies.
