Karaoke Night

Kirishima x Bakugou

The red head and electric blond made eye contact as soon as the final bell rang, a knowing look in their eyes. Without words being spoken, they shot up and grinned at each other.
"Oh you're on" Kirishima grinned, hardening his fists while smashing them together.
"You know you can't win this, Ei"
"We'll see who laughs last, won't we Denki?"

"Wait. Are those two planning to fight or something?" Midoriya asked out loud, confused about the whole situation. The ash blond in front of him groaned as he draped his bag around his frame.
"Unfortunaly, no. It's something much much worse..."
"How can it be worse..?" Uraraka asked, now a little scared.

"Karaoke!" Mina exclaimed happily, throwing herself at the two boys, draping an arm around each one so she wouldn't fall. They stumbled back a bit from the sudden weigth but they managed.
"Ugh... Karaoke..." Bakugou shivered, sticking his tongue out in disgust.
"Come on Bakubro! You promised me you'd come this time!" Kiri whined, pushing the pink raccoon off of him and running over to his ruby eyed friend.

"He promised?!" Midoriya gasped, knowing his childhood friend never broke a promise.
"Shut up shitty Deku! It was a stupid bet and I lost and now I have to carry the damn consequences..."
"I'm getting at least one duet out of you tonight bro. Whether you want it or not" the red head stated, smiling from ear to ear.
"Bakugou singing? Oh this is gonna be great" Jirou snorted.

"I want recordings" Todoroki said on a monotone voice.
"Todoroki!" Midoriya gasped, staring wide eyed at the dual quirk user.
"I'm not taking no for an answer" he added, looking Jirou straight in the eye.
"I've got you covered, no problem" she smiled. This made Katsuki groan even more as he pulled at his hair in frustration.
"I'm sure it won't be that bad Kacchan-"

"Shut up nerd!" the blond hissed.
"I don't need your fucking pity! Come on shitty hair, let's fucking get this nightmare over already"

Later that night, the full Bakusquad went to karaoke. Katsuki hated it right from the start, wanting to explode his own ears when both Kaminari and Sero started singing against each other. Alright, the failed Pikachu wasn't that bad but the tape dispenser really sounded like a whale choking on a lawnmower. It was absolutely horrible.
"This is so going in the groupchat" Jirou chuckled while recording the whole thing.

She turned around to face Ashido and Bakugou in the back while Kirishima was cheering his friends on.
"So? You having fun yet angry dandelion?"
"Fuck off headphones!" he hissed, scowling while looking away from the camera.
"Come on Bakugou! At least try to enjoy yourself?" Mina pleaded, pouting at the explosive boy next to her.
"Yeah! Come on Bakubro! You sing something" Kiri said, dragging his friend up and to the front.

He looked annoyed but didn't react with an angry snap or insult. He'd lost the bet. He promised this. No way out of it.
"If any of you damn extra's say anything about this to anyone I swear I'll fucking kill you" he hissed before picking a song. He chose Demons from Imagine Dragons and started singing. Everyone was dead silent, blown away by his voice. It was...beautiful... So soft and vulnerable... So unlike Bakugou...

"They say it's what you make, I say it's up to fate. It's woven in my soul. I need to let you go~"
He turned around, now facing Kirishima with a lingering hurt in his eyes. Nobody else saw though. They were all too mesmerised by his voice.
"Your eyes, they shine so bright. I want to save that light. I can't escape this now, unless you show me how~!"

Eijirou frowned as he finished up the song, not knowing what to think. His bro had looked so...sad while singing that song... And it was like it was all directed to him.
"Alright. Let's do that fucking duet and get this thing over with" the ash blond groaned, pulling his red headed friend up.
"It's getting damn late and I wanna go home as soon as fucking possible"
"It's not even nine yet" Kaminari pointed out.
