Immunity

Izuku is the biological son of Eraserhead and Present Mic. His quirk is called Immunity and can cancel out both physical and mental effects of quirks.

"The Sportsfestival is just around the corner, are you ready for it?"
Izuku looked up from his homework, as well as Hitoshi, who was staying over for a late night study session. In the doorframe of the room stood his dad, Aizawa Shouta. He held a cat themed coffee mug, the bags under his eyes evident in the light of the room. Shinsou shrugged at the question, glancing aside at his cousin.

"I'm not scared of your 1-A class, if that's what you're implying" Izuku answered, pulling a strand of black hair behind his ear. He was the biological son of pro heroes Eraserhead and Present Mic, born through DNA in a tube in some fertility lab. His hair was black, like his dad's, but his eyes were a bright emerald green. Freckles dominated his cheeks and his hair was much fluffier than that of his parents.

His quirk was called Immunity, probably inherited from the line of quirk nullifying quirks from his dad's side rather than his pops voice dominated side. Neither physical nor mental quirks had effect on him. The only thing that was able to harm him was regular combat and of course guns, the old fashioned style. It was a really good defensive quirk to have in a world where real manual weapons are practically non-existent anymore, but it lacked the offensive to get him through the entrance exam and into the hero course.

So now he was stuck in General Studies with his cousin, Shinsou Hitoshi. Both of them really wanted to became heroes, yet they had to work double so hard as anyone else to get there...
"If he's not scared, I'm not either" Hitoshi stated, looking back down at the homework.
"We've trained for this, haven't we?"
It's true, they've been training their bodies and quirks for this event. Going to the gym and training with Aizawa had visibly created some muscle on them. But would it be enough..? Only one way to find out, right?

When the Sportsfestival finally began, Izuku had promised himself to give it everything he got. His parents were commentating so they would see everything and he wanted to make them proud! The first round was an obstacle race, which should be relatively okay seeing as there weren't many people with speed quirks and the so called obstacles would break that anyway. Yep, the little Aizawa had done his research!

Which is also why, when Todoroki Shoto froze the gateway, he was prepared. He'd jumped, saying sorry over and over again as he ran over people's heads who were struggling to break free. When the zero pointers emerged, he stopped for a moment, watching it play out before him. Others would be able to take them down with their powerful quirks so he had to be tactical about it.

A piece of armour from one of the bots fell off and he took that opportunity to take it as a shield, blocking an attack as he ran underneath the giant metal beings. Next up was a ravine, ropes connecting to smaller patches of land in the middle. Izuku took a deep breath, tying the shield on his back before starting to climb the robes. He knew he wasn't that far of the ones in the lead, namely Todoroki and Bakugou.

They had just passed this section so it wouldn't be impossible for him to get a decent place on the scoreboard. If he was able to make it to the top ten, he would already be thrilled. He heard his pops announce the final obstacle as he was almost at the end of the ravine. A minefield. That would surely even out the odds, slowing down the lead and letting the others have a chance to catch up.

So Izuku ran as fast as he could, arriving at the minefield to see he would never make it to the top cut if he just ran in like the other students. No, he had to be smart about this. That was his strong suit, wasn't it? To be able to think outside the box and overanalyse every situation. He glanced down at the ground, a recklessly brilliant idea sparking in his mind. His dads were so gonna kill him for this...
