Bakugou x Midoriya

Quirk!Deku au in which he is linked up with Bakugou. This causes their minds to switch bodies on regular intervals based on their relationship with each other.

Midoriya opened his eyes as an alarm blared through the air. He instantly shut it up and groaned as he saw he wasn't in his own dorm room. He still remembered when this happened for the very first time when they were four. They were playing and somehow fell unconscious out of nowhere. Their moms took them home when they were asleep, but when Izuku woke up on the couch in the Bakugou household inside Kacchan's body, he screamed an cried.

Apparently Katsuki was the same and soon enough their parents met up to talk about it. A quirk accident, maybe? So they took them to the doctor, who said it was sure to be temporary. They ran some tests and found out that it was actually Midoriya's quirk manifesting. Based on the relationship he had with the person he linked up with, they would switch bodies on regular time intervals. Izuku tried breaking his link with Katsuki, but to no avail. It seemed like they were now stuck like this forever...

That was the time period in with Bakugou started taking his distance, finding the whole quirk a big nusiance more than anything. And when their relationship got worse, they switched less and less frequently. In middle school, it only happened about once every 6 months. But right now, after their all revealing battle at ground beta, when their relationship was improving again, it became more and more frequent again.

Neither of them had any intension of telling their classmates about this bizarre phenomena to avoid intrusive questions about Midoriya's quirk. It did mean the two boys had to be updated on what was going on in each other's lives permanently, learning each other's schedules and mannerisms. Izuku sighed, getting up and dressed. It became a routine at this point. Kacchan's body felt just as much his as his own.

Luckily it was Saturday today, so they didn't have any classes to attend to. But that didn't mean their training schedules slacked off in the slightest. Just as he was about ready to go, there was a knock on his door.
"Hey Bakubro! Ready to go?" Kirishima called out from the other side.
"Yeah, one second!" Izuku called back, not finding it strange to hear Katsuki's voice from his throat anymore. Kacchan went jogging with Kirishima in the morning. The red head was his best friend after all.

"You're later than usual man" Eijirou pointed out as the door opened.
"Didn't wanna get up, it's too damn early" Izuku mumbled, being used to Kacchan's mannerisms and ways of acting. The two of them had become experts in immitation each other across the years, which was really no miracle seeing their circumstances.
"I feel ya dude! Come on, let's get to it! Bet a run would warm us right up!" he grinned. Izuku rolled his eyes, giving him a small smile and a nod, followed by a small 'whatever' before following him down the hall.

The two of them went running that morning but neither spoke a lot. Or rather Kirishima rambled and and Izuku basically ignored him, tuning him out as he mentally reviewed Kacchan's planning for today and whether or not they would have the time to meet up. This body switching was getting in the way of their training and would pose a problem in their hero carrier if they didn't manage to get it under control.

It's not like Midoriya didn't know how to use Bakugou's quirk. On the contrary, basically hald of the ash blonde's moves came from the green head and his over analysing. No, Izuku was more concerned about One For All... Sure, he could keep on Kacchan's hero work and training schedule like he's been doing for ages now, but that didn't mean that Bakugou was able to control his self-destructive quirk.
