Camie x male child reader

You are a 6 year old orphan boy living on the streets, meeting Camie when a villain attacks.

(I had so much fun expermenting with the way Camie talks!!)

What was happening? People around you were screaming, running around in a rush, pushing you over in their hurry. The ground rumbled, followed by a loud noise, making you whimper and cover your ears. Suddenly heat washed over your back. Fire... It was fire. You scrambled to your feet, your knees scraped and your eyes filling with tears. There was panic all around you, making you panic as well. The ground rumbled again, making your breath hitch.

Stumbling, you tried to flee the scene. But the buildings were destroyed and scattered glass was sprawled across the street. Seeing as you were barefoot, running around did more harm than good. Certainly not when you tripped over your feet, falling onto the concrete.
"Yo! All civils this way! All of you evactuate!" a woman's voice called out, making you look up again.
"Any of you peeps still out here?!"

She paused as she saw you, quickly running towards you. Her shoes were tall, you noticed, and for a minute you wondered how she could run so fast with such shoes on.
"Hey there little dude! Are you okay? Need some help?" she asked, tilting her head as she kneeled down in front of you.
"Come on"
She picked you up, holding you up so that your legs were dangling at each side of her waist.

You quickly wrapped your hands around her neck, scared to fall off. The action made her laugh a little and she bounced you up and down for a moment.
"Hey there browski, don't cry no more, alright? Ya good now" she smiled.
"The name is Camie, I'm a hero in training, ya know? Intershipping and all that stuff. Not that your tiny brain is gonna understand that, or do you?"
You blinked at her.

Her eyes seemed big and curious, het she wasn't invasive. She had blonde hair, a colour that wasn't that common around here. At least, you didn't see people with that colour that often. She was smiling, showing kindness. Nobody was ever nice to you... You were just a kid living on the street, so why would they? But she said she was a hero! A real one! Are all heroes like that?

"So what's your name my dude?" she asked. You blushed and hid your face in her leather outfit. The way she looked at you... It felt nice. Unlike the way people look at you normally.
"Y-Y/n" you muttered, liking the feeling of her leather suit. It had its own unique feeling, you know? Soft het rough... The texture felt good against your cheek.
"Alright Y/n, let's get ya outta here, shall we?"

The ground shook again, making you shake in fear as she shushed you,
"Hey, hey, it's all cool little man! I know it's scary and all that to see the adults fighting but I'm gonna keep ya safe, 'kay?"
"...Okay" you whispered, holding on tight as she started walking.
"Aw look at you! All banged up! Are ya lost little fella? Know the names of ya parents? I can help ya find your old folks! Sounds like a plan, am I right?"

You got silent after that. You were still in pain, your feet bleeding and your knees scraped. Yet being in Camie's arms made you feel safe and secure. You rubbed your cheek against the leather again. The fabric really felt nice... The black was shiny and grainy, the structure stern yet flexible.
"Ah? You like that huh?" Camie smiled, ruffling your hair.
"Aren't you a cutie!"

With that she quickly kissed your cheek, giggling as she saw you blush and hide your face again. A yelp escaped when the ground shook once more and Camie leaned against a building as rubble fell down.
"Ssh, it's okay, it's okay... I'm gonna get ya outta here, 'kay? Then we're gonna find ya parents" she smiled, moving again when the coast seemed clear. You swallow a lump in your throat as tears well up in your eyes. She wants to dump you as soon as possible... Why wouldn't she? She was probably gonna leave him at the hospital and he was gonna be all alone again!
