Todoroki x Inasa

Todoroki and Inasa meet each other in a coffee shop in town and start talking. One thing leads to another and before anyone realises, the most closed off boy from class 1-A falls in love.

Shoto had the habit of visiting this nice small coffee shop on a quiet corner of town. They didn't only sell coffee though, also tea and sweets like cake and candy. Nobody knew about it, not his family, not his friends, not even Midoriya. His special place where he could escape from the madness of the dorms at UA for a while. A little bell rang as he entered the small shop and the owner looked up from behind the counter.

"Ah, if it isn't my favourite regular. What can I do for you today, Mr Hero?" he chuckled. Shoto gave him a small smile, the nickname reminding him of the first time he came here. Antonio, the owner of this shop, had recognized him from the Sportsfestival and he had rambled about his classmates, especially Bakugou and Midoriya. Not surprised since those two drew a lot of attention, not in a good way...
"The tea of the day sounds nice" Todoroki spoke, taking out his wallet.

"I'll add a peppermint, I know you like them"
"That's really not necessary-"
"I insist" Antonio pressed, already making the tea. Shoto nodded, walking over to a table in the corner of the small room, taking out his phone and scrolling through his notifications. Not that it were many. After that he grabbed a book from his bag.

The young Todoroki liked to read here in peace and quiet while enjoying a warm drink. He didn't get this kind of peace back at the dorm. He thanked the man when he brought over his tea and started reading his book. When in the middle of his chapter, the door loudly opened.

"HELLO! IS THIS SWEETS AND STUFF?!"

Shoto frowned as he looked up from his page, recognizing the loud boy as Inasa from Shiketsu. The same boy that cost him his hero license... Antonio was friendly, as always, helping Inasa around as the boy ordered some coffee. Apparently some friend of him recomended this place, yet Shoto wasn't so sure he got the right adres since he almost never saw people here. It was more busy in the morning, when people came in to grap coffee and breakfast, rather than the afternoon when Todoroki came here.

"OH! TODOROKI SHOTO! I REMEMBER YOU FROM THE LICENSE EXAM! I ONCE AGAIN APOLOGIZE FOR MY CHILDISCH BEHAVIOUR!"

With that he smashed his head to the ground, making Shoto flinch.
"It's... Uh, it's alright... I wasn't very mature either-"
"WHAT A COINCIDENCE TO BUMP INTO YOU HERE OF ALL PLACES! IT MUST BE FATE!"
"I don't think-" Todoroki tried, only for the loud boy to sit down with a wide smile. He isn't getting rid of him, is he?
"I REALLY HOPE WE CAN BE FRIENDS! CAN WE BE FRIENDS?!"

It was quiet for a while before Shoto slowly closed his book and placed it down.
"Sure. We can be friends"
"YES! I WON'T LET YOU DOWN!"
"Can you please talk a little more quietly?"
"MY APOLOGIZES!"
Todoroki sighed. Guess this was going to take a while...

After that first time, the unusual duo met up regularly at the coffee shop. It was strange, seeing as they didn't have a lot in common. But somehow their differences filled each other up. They complemented each other. Today was one of those days they were meeting up. Shoto would lie if he said he wasn't looking forward to their small talk. The thought alone made a blush rise to his cheeks and he had no idea why.

He has never been one to be good with emotions, let alone with this type of feeling. He felt all fuzzy inside whenever he and Inasa met up and he would catch himself staring as the taller male happily rambled about something that happened earlier. The rather loud hero in training was also feeling this way towards Shoto, the only difference was that he realised what the feeling was.
