Flash-Back

Grown up au! Deku gets send back in time!

"Deku, location"
"South entrance, near the ally" Midoriya responded into his earpiece.
"What bout you Zero?"
"East flank, top of the building" Bakugou answered. Believe it or not, the two actually grew closer to each other during high school and now they're a pro-hero team known as the Wonder Duo.

They were after a villain that's never been caught, very high on the priority list as well. They stole important tech and expensive jewellery and had to be stopped.

"Well~ Tell your buddy Ground Zero your last goodbye's, hero~" a sinister voice whispered from behind him. Before Izuku could react, he felt his body freeze up and pain washed over him. Everything went black and an annoyingly high pitched beeping sound was all he could hear.

Meanwhile, somewhere in a time long past, Izuku Midoriya made his way to UA high. It was only the start of his first year at the prestigious hero school and he was all hyped up! It's only been a week since he has started going here and everything still felt so surreal!
"Good morning Deku!" Uraraka smiled, running up to him from behind.
"Morning Uraraka!" he smiled, his face flushing red. He really needs to learn how to talk to girls...

The duo made their way into the building and into their homeroom, where Iida was scolding Bakugou on his behaviour. Izuku rolled his eyes at the scene, knowing those two would never get along. Actually, the only one Kacchan seemed to get somewhat along with was Kirishima, the cheerful red head of the class.
"Seats" was all Mr Aizawa had to say when he walked into the classroom to make everyone shut up and scramble to their place.

By the time he stood behind his desk, everyone sat down, looking at him expectantly. But before he could speak up, the class was engulfed in a bright green flash and suddenly Deku laid sprawled out on the ground in the front of the classroom. The pro-hero groaned, holding his head as he crawled up.

"Ugh... What the-"

He broke off his own sentence as he met the eyes of the flabbergasted students. He recognized them out of a thousand, his first your class in UA, class 1-A. Frowning, he turned around, seeing a not-so-impressed Eraserhead, ready to call it a day.
"Uhm, hi" Deku chuckled, scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Identify yourself" the eraser hero grunted, crossing his arms.

The whole class was still frozen, until Mineta leaned down a little towards Midoriya, his eyes still wide in shock.
"He looks like you"
"I-I know..."
"Tch. Yeah right, a better version of you, maybe" Katsuki scoffed. He tried not to seem impressed or affected but had low key kinda an idea what was going on here...

Time travel

Couldn't be anything else, right? That nerd in front of them was definitely the same nerd that was sitting behind him. Just some years apart. Pro-hero Deku handed over his hero licence to Aizawa with a proud smile, making the teacher quirk a brow.
"Seriously? How did you get all the way here?"
"I have absolutely no idea" he spoke, his smile not wavering.

"Ugh... Graduated and still causing me a migraine... You'll always be a problem child, won't you?"
"Aw come on Eraser! Lighten up a bit! I know you secretly love me" Deku laughed, pushing the other's shoulder. The only reaction he got was a grumble and a glare.
"Can someone fill us in on what's going on?!" Mina asked loudly, putting her hand up in the air.

Deku turned around, smiling brightly at the class. It was a smile they all knew very well, even if they've only met a week ago.
"No fucking way..." Bakugou muttered, leaning back in his chair.
"Ah, quick to catch on, like always Kacchan" the hero smiled. Midoriya paled and the rest of the class gasped in shock.
"Let me introduce myself! My name is Izuku Midoriya and I come from the future"
