Kirishima x Kaminari

Romeo and Juliet! au. I don't really have a connection with how the characters normally act so I'm swinging with the bnha personalities on this one. The big story lines are the same but I'm also just doing whatever I want lol
Romeo: Kirishima
Juliet: Kaminari (he is still a guy though)
Friar Laurance: Sero
Paris: Shinsou
Juliet's cousin: Monoma

Kirishima sighed as he stared at him. Kaminari Denki, the fairest boy in the city... How unfortunate that his last name is Kaminari, otherwise Eijirou would've courted him.
"Stop staring before they catch and skin you" Sero snorted, making Kirishima roll his eyes.
"I can't help it dude! He's so pretty..."

"You should be getting ready for the party tonight. Your family will kill you if you don't show up in proper attire, you know? The Kaminari's will be there too, after all, and they can't afford to slack off in front of their rivals" Sero sighed.
"Sometimes I don't quite understand our family feud... When did it all start anyway?" Kirishima wondered out loud.
"Doesn't really matter, now does it? Come on dude, we have to find you a nice suit" Sero chuckled, dragging the whining red head along.

They did find a suit and Kirishima attended the party with the rest of his family. Like Sero had mentioned before, a great deal of the Kaminari family was also there, including Denki. Eijirou didn't know how it happened, but they somehow ended up on a balcony outside the dance room all alone.

"You know, you're nice...for a Kirishima" Denki chuckled.
"And you're really fun! For a Kaminari" Eijirou added. They both laughed at that, their hands meeting on the balustrade of the balcony, making them fall into silence once more. They were both faced with the harsh reality. They liked each other, fell in love with one another just like that. They were also both of age for marriage, but knew their families would never allow them to be together.

All they had was right here and now, this one moment in time before they resumed to be enemies once more.
"Is it bad that I want to kiss you?" Denki asked quietly, his tone soft and vulnerable as Eijirou rubbed his thumb in circles over her hand in their hold.
"No... Is it bad I want to marry you?" Eijirou asked, looking up to meet those electric yellow eyes. He'd never seen anything quite like it before. So mesmerizing and bright... Shining with innocence and love.

"Don't be ridiculous" Denki sighed, pulling his hand back and looking ahead, to the city beneath their feet.
"Our families would never allow it. We're enemies, remember?"
"Unfortunately, I do" Eijirou sighed.
"But that doesn't have to stop us from enjoying each other's company right now"
"What are you implying, Kirishima?" Denki asked with a small grin, already having an idea where this was going.

"Follow me" Eijirou smiled, grabbing his hand and pulling him along. They fled the party together, laughing and cheerign as they ran through the empty streets of the city at night. For once they could be themselves, without their families looking down on them. They shared kisses and fell down into a grassy field outside the city, watching the stars that hung high above them in the sky.

It was the best evening of their lives, even though they knew their families would be furious with them in the morning for disappearing like that.
"I think I fell in love with you" Denki whispered as Eijirou trailed a hand through his hair. They were staring into each other's eyes, sitting against a tree.
"I know I fell in love with you" Eijirou reacted to that, giving his love a peck on the lips.

"I also know we can't ever be together like this anymore... Time to bid you farewell, my fair enemy. The party is ending and we shouldn't attract too much attention towards us"
"But I don't want to leave you" Denki whined, clinging onto him.
"Please... If you leave me, I'll be forced into marriage with someone I don't love. I want you to be my husband, Eijirou"
Kirishima bit his lip, looking aside to the grass before looking back at the man he fell in love with.
